*Gracies POV*

"COMING MOM!" I shouted from my room. I shut my trunk with a loud BANG that scared Lucy my barn owl. "Sorry Lu." I said, picking up her cage in one hand and dragging my large trunk in the other. THUMP. THUMP. THUMP. THUMP. THUMP. THUMP. THUMP. I dragged my trunk down my steps. My mom was standing bye the door smiling kindly at me. I returned the friendly gesture and we walked out the door to our small car. I shoved my trunk in the boot of the car and set Lucy's cage in the crammed back seat. I came around to the passengers side of the car and climbed in. My mom was already in the car. She slipped the key in the key hole and twisted it making the car sputter a bit before starting to run. I honestly felt bad for my mom. I left her for basically the whole year then coming back for only, like, three months just go right back. If I was a mom it would hurt to see my child climb onto the train. She started to pull out of the driveway and down the quiet streets of Privet Drive. That's right, same street as Mr Potter himself. He was in his, I think third year... or something.

Well, you don't really know much about me. I'm Gracie. Well, Grace Riely if you wanna be all formal. But everyone calls me Gracie. I am shortish for my age. I have pulp eyes. Yeah, I'm just so AWESOME like that. I have long brown hair and my favorite color is orange. My best friends are Victoria Jones and Peyton Myrie. They are in the same year as me and we are all in... GRYFFINDOR! I am so pumped for this year. EEP!

My mom pulls up to Kings Cross Station and she sighs. She looks at me with a smile but I could see the sadness in those pulp eyes. I smiled at her.

"Don't worry, I will see you for Christmas. And we can sent letters to each other, right penpal?" I asked her. We had a tight relationship. I would never trade our relationship for anything in the world. She smiled a real smile and opened her door as I did the same. I went to the back and popped open the boot and pulled out my huge trunk. I slammed the boot shut and went around to the back door to see an hiper looking Lucy. I smiled and grabbed her cage and started walking with Mom to the doors.

*Couple Minutes later*

"Ready?" Mom asked me over the bustling of people trying to get to their train platforms on time. I nodded my head before taking a deep breath and charging at the wall and then going through it to a crowded Platform 9 and 3 quarters. I stumbled into a crowd of ruff looking seventh years. I spun on my heal without apologising and walked into a clearing. I saw my mom approach me. She engulfed me in a hug. I chuckled and hugged her. I let go of her and held her at arms length, looking into her eyes.

"I'll be fine. Now don't do anything you'll regret." I said smirking. She chuckled.

"Only if you do the same." She said.

"No promises" I said smirking. She let out a laugh before we walked towards the train. I hugged her once more before giving my trunk to a guy, person, oh you know what I mean. I hopped on the train. It began to huff and start to slowly move. I waved to a watery eyed mom as did many other kids before turning to go find Victoria and Peyton. I walked along the crowded aisle, looking through each window to see if Victoria or Rebecca were in any. Some people were talking, others eating, and the accasul snogging couple. Of course the last compartment I had not checked was occupied by Victoria, Peyton, and Of course Fred and George. I slid the door open.

"Yo losers" I said, walking in and flopping on the bench thing that looked like a booth from a restaurant.

"Hello to you to." Peyton said not looking up from her book, typical Peyton. A evil smile spread across my face. I whale flopped onto her lap and on top of her book, knocking it to the ground, causing her to lose her page.

"DID YA MISS ME PAY-PAY?" I shouted.

"Oh yes, terribly." She said, shoving me onto the ground. Fred, George and Victoria were all in fits of laughter.

"How about you Victor?" I asked. She looked at me and licked her lips and winked.

"Oh course I did." She said in a "seductive" tone that make Fred and George laugh harder. I rolled my eyes.

"I HUNGRY!" I shouted after a little while of fooling around.

"Why are we not surprised?" Fred asked. George chuckled. I stuck my tounge out at them and got up. I walked out the door and walked.up to the trolley where the sweet old lady was selling candy. I looked down at my clutch then when I found enough for my favorite, a candy carrot, I locked eyes with the most beautiful blue ones.
