The unexpected true love

Chapter 8

This afternoon is the wedding that Jason was talking about, I was excited to go and have fun but I was more stressed about my outfit. I was thinking about buying a dress for this special day but was it really necessary? So I decided not to buy a dress but to look in my closet for a dress. I had this beautiful black and white dress that was like a second skin on my body, it complemented my curves in the right way, I had put on my white pumps and I didn't do much with my hair I only had  straightened it and my make-up was plain and simple.
I heard a car outside my window and it was Jason, my heart suddenly had beaten faster and butterflies was going crazy in my tummy. My mom was busy cooking lasagna (that's my favorite BTW) "Cailleeyyy! Here is a boy that is waiting for you. Hurry up!" I quickly rushed down and my mom looked at me as if it's the first time she saw me in ages. "Mom? Is something wrong with the outfit?" I asked her feeling insecure
"No hunny, you just look so.. breathtaking" her eyes lit up like the stars at night and I haven't seen that in a while.
"Awww mom!! thank you I'll see you a bit later, I love you so much!"
I looked at myself one last time before leaving the house. When I got outside Jason just stared at me and the he began to smile and that made my butterflies even more.
"Wow! You really out done yourself this evening Cailey. You look beautiful!"
I could feel how my face heated up and I just smiled and I got in the car. Man this guy loves to do some things to me and I couldn't help but smile the whole time.
There was silence in the car but not awkward silence , it was lovey and I enjoyed it . The ride was long , we drove for one and a half hours just to get to the church where his nephew was getting married. We got out and he introduced me to the family and everything.
"Yo, Cailey I need to go to the bathroom real quick before the wedding begins, see you in a bit okay?" Jason left and I just mingled with his nephew and asked him if he was nervous and he told me about his fiancee, when he told me about Veronica (the bride) he couldn't stop smiling one bit , he was truly and madly inlove with her I could see it in his actions and that made my heart melt for het part.

It has been almost an half hour since Jason left for the bathroom and the wedding is starting soon.. Where could he be? My mind began to wonder and I jumped to conclusions (like always)

I saw a guy that worked in the church, he was busy making sure everything is good before everyone could go inside to take their places "Excuse me sir but where are your bathrooms?"
"Just go down the hall, you will see there are two rooms on your left, the second room is the bathroom young lady" he smiled and carried on with what he was doing.

As I walked down the hall I heard a girl laughing and a guy that said she must be quiet. My heart began to beat faster , my head felt like it was going to explode because I was thinking of many things and it all involved Jason.

"Jason?" I called his name as I came closer to the two rooms.. My heart was about to jump out of my body and suddenly I saw him with my best friend Skyler.. they were making out and her blouse was opened and all you could see was her boobs hanging out. Jason's hand was all over her body and I was heart broken and tears fell down my face.
"Cai..Cailey, I..I " he struggled to say the right words but I didn't want to hear anything.
I must have knew that a guy soo perfect would never love a plain simple girl like me.
"Jason you know what.. you're really handsome and you can get any girl you want but I'm not up for this.. this game you are playing. The game of lie and lust" the words came more harsh then I was planning but then again, he brought me here to enjoy this day of love and he was almost about to ... My thoughts couldn't even imagine what he was about to do.
"I will stay for the wedding but I'm leaving on my own. Skyler, just take Jason for yourself and don't talk to me. Ever"
I left and went to take a seat in the church. Time passed by and the wedding was over, I made my way to the door and suddenly a guy stopped me. He was tall , brown eyes, ash-brown hair, and the smile of an angel. "Well hello there beautiful" he smiled and looked at me like he was expecting a flirty reply.
"Hi.. uhm I'm Cailey, nice to meet you" I hugged him and waited to hear what his name was. "I'm Luke , nice to meet you Cailey. You look very lovey for someone that came alone to a wedding. Where is your date?"
"Wel you see, he basically banged my best friend in the room next to the bathroom and I was about to leave I was only staying just to be polite to Veronica and Nick" I wanted to put my words more nice instead of saying 'banged' but I was so hurt and full of frustration that the words just came out.
"That's bad, I'm sorry to hear about it.. but if you don't mind me asking but, do you have a ride home? I would like to give you one. I know you only have met me now but I won't bite, I promise" he smiled at me and I couldn't help but smile back.
"Wel I do need to get home, I will direct you to my house but don't try anything funny. I'm not that type okay?" I looked at him dead serious. He noded and we left.

All I could have think of was Jason and Skyler. Why didn't they told me about this? Why do I deserve this..
