Something New

It was already the start of the school year. Erica is walking down the hall for her to check her assigned classroom. As she walks down the hall she saw her bestfriends Yvette, Lanz, Sofia, Andreana and Randall. But this school year all things will change.

"Hey guys! How are you? I missed you so much guys!" Erica shouted.

"Me too, my summer was way to fun! I went to Laguna! How' bout you guys?" Lanz answered.

"A lot's happened to me" Yvette answered.

While they we're talking the bell rang and they went to their classroom separately. They we're surprised because they were all classmates, except for two. Erica and Yvette. After class all of them go straight to their meeting place, Yvette's house.

"Guys, did you know that Herlan is part of our class. I love it!" Yvette blushed.

"Do you still have a crush on that guy?" Randall questioned Yvette.

"Well, maybe. I don't know." Yvette answered straightly.

"And do you know he is my partner? Urgh, I hate it! I hate him so much." Erica shared.

"You still hate him? Hahaha. About that thing that he did to you when we're in the 6th level? When the time he poured his juice to you? Haha. That was so funny." Randall giggled.

"Stop it Randall." Erica snapped back at Randall.

Then all of them fell in silence. The next day Randall saw Erica and Herlan together. Then Randall ran straight to the others and told them what he saw. While Randall was talking Trice, Ella and Carla we're secretly listening.

"O my gosh, I hate that Erica girl. She thinks she is more famous than us. And she thinks she can get Herlan from you Trice." Ella teased.

"Well I will show her how sassy I am. Tomorrow I have surprise for that ugly girl." Trice replied.

"I am excited about that girly" Carla told them.

After school Randall talk to Erica about what he saw.

"Erica, why were you and Herlan together? Everyone was thinking that you already fall for that guy. I also think that Trice already know that both of you we're together." Randall said with a worried voice.

"Ew. He's like my arch enemy. I don't wanna be friends with that guy, He destroyed my 6th grade life. And tomorrow, first thing in the morning I will talk to Trice about that. I just talked to him about our project for Math. He's not mature if he is thinking that I like his imaginary boyfriend." Erica answered

"Well, I hope so. Just be careful. Tell us anything what will Trice say to you tomorrow." Randall told her.

"Sure, thanks Randall for reminding me. Bye, I have to go now." Erica waved her hand and leave.

The next day Erica saw Trice, Ella and Carla standing near the café. And she thinks they are waiting for her so she walks toward them.

"Erica, can I talk to you for a minute?" Trice caught Erica's attention.

"Sure."

"So I've heard that you and Herlan are going out? Well let's forget about that."

"Okay." Erica nodded.

"I wanna give you something"

Then Trice handed an invitation to Erica.

"For you, I wanna see you at my swimming party, come there or else I will get mad at you."

Erica was in silence, she can't answer because she was afraid of the water. Because when she was in 3rd Grade. She drowned in a swimming pool. Luckily a lifeguard saw her then save her. Erica don't want Trice to be disappointed. Because it was for the first time Trice invited her for a party

"I'm not yet sure but, I will try my best to come" Erica told her.

When Herlan saw that Trice also gave Erica an invitation for her swimming party this coming saturday, she walks toward Erica.

"Hey, are you coming to her swimming party?" Herlan whispered

"I'm not yet sure. Because you know I have a phobia when it comes to swimming pool." Erica answered by a whisper

"Well don't worry, I will not let you drown. I'll be always by your side." Herlan said.

Then suddenly she blushed. Later that day Erica decided that she will go to the party because she was convinced of what Herlan, his arch enemy said to her.

The next day she arrived at Trice's house. Many people in their school we're there. She was wearing a two piece bikini. And she was so shy. When she saw the pool her knees started to shake and she felt some butterflies in her stomach. She must conquer her fear or else Trice will be disappointed. And besides she remembered what Herlan told her, "I'll always be by your side." Then she saw Herlan, Yvette, Sam (Trice older brother) and of course the celebrant, Trice.

"Erica! I am glad you came. Well what are we waiting for? Let's start this party" Trice shouted then ran toward Carla and Ella.

"So guys remember what we plan? Let's do this thing so we can prove that Erica is a total skunk." Trice whispered to them.

So Erica was standing at the stairs of the pool. Carla walked towards Erica and pretended to push her. Everyone was shocked. Erica dropped into the pool and started to scream for help. No one helped her. After that Herlan and Yvette and together when they saw that Erica was drowning. They don't know what happened but Herlan ran to the pool then jumped! She save Erica. Atleast his on time. Erica was unconcious. But then a few minutes later she was awake.

"Who the hell pushed her? Who?! We all know that Erica is afraid of pools!?" Herlan asked them in a loud and angry voice.

"I was the one." Trice answered him laughing.

"What's your problem Trice? I don't understand you, you invited her to let her drown?! What's wrong with you?! We are getting out of here. Yvette and Erica let's get out of here."

"Wait, I just thought she was trying to get you away from me. I love you and I don't want anybody getting you from me!" Trice told Herlan

"Listen Trice, there is no us and I will not love you. So stay away from me and from my friends!"

Erica was shocked. Herlan, his arch enemy called her a friend and saved her life. How sweet of him. She whispered to herself.

Then Herlan, Erica and Yvette leaved Trice's house. Trice was crying and was very angry. Still Erica is blushing because of what Herlan did.
