Why me?!

Sara's alarm clock started beeping rapidly. Her father burst through the bedroom door causing Sara to sit up rather quickly. "Turn it off....NOW!" He yelled. Sara turned off the alarm quickly and stood up. She looked down at her hands waiting for her father to leave which he did after a while. She breathed a sigh of relief and checked her phone which was blown up by her friend BEN. Sara didn't know that he was a killer and he wanted to keep it that way.

BEN: Saaraaa are you up yet??

Sara: Yes I just got up though.

BEN: OK good! I'm gonna walk with you today so be ready in a little bit!

Sara read the message and heat made its way to her cheeks. She has always had a crush on BEN. She didn't want to tell him because she was scared of getting rejected. Sara made her way to her closet and grabbed an outfit. Her outfit consisted of a black tank top along with a red flannel to go with it, black shorts that were kinda ripped up which she liked a lot, converse with braclets that covered the scars on her wrists and some black nail polish. She walked over to her desk and started on her makeup. Her makeup was dark with winged eyeliner and a little bit of mascara. She grabbed a jewelry box and pulled out two peircings. Sara put each one on the side of her mouth like snake bites. She brushed her long black and purple hair and grabbed her galaxy looking backpack before hearing her phone go off.

BEN: I'm here.

Sara: OK coming.

BEN: OK but hurry we are going to be late for school.

Sara: k.

Sara was hurrying down the steps when she was grabbed by her father "Where do you think you're going young lady?" "School." Sara said as she hurried out the door.

BENs P.O.V
I was standing outside of Sara's apartment building. I knew what her father did to her and I always wondered how she kept smiling. "Hey ready to go?" Sara asked me with a dazzling smile. I stared at her for a moment. I loved her smile. I loved everything about her. The way her hair frames her face and the way her eyebrows furrow when she is frustrated. I loved her. I always asked myself how a killer like me could ever fall in love. 'I promise Sara. I won't let him hurt you much longer.' I thought as we started walking to school.

Sara's P.O.V
BEN and I walked into the school. We immediately had to go different ways because his locker was on the other side of school. I waved him goodbye and turned around my smile fading. Samantha one of my bullies spotted me. Samantha and her minions as I liked to call them came up to me. "Hey fucktard!" She yelled and I ignored her which made her even angrier. She grabbed me by my hair and slammed my face into the locker causing my nose to bleed. "Is that the best you got bitch?!" I yelled at her. Samantha smirked and kicked me in the stomach causing me to fall. I coughed up blood as her and her minions walked away. I ran to the bathroom and hid in one of the stalls. All I managed to say was "Why me?..."
