i headed home to my big old white house almost smothered by vines. Daddy was supposed to get a guy to cut them down but he never got around to doing that. "Sammy why are you not at school!" yelled my mom as she notice me trying to sneak pass her to my room. "they uhhhhh let us out early to day" i said hoping she will believe that. she gave me a confused look "well i made dinner it on the stove if you get hungry" she said as i headed up stairs. "thanks but i'm not hungry right now" echoed my voice down the hall. as i close my door and sat on my bed. remembering ,the egg in my jacket pocket, i took out and glanced at it . the light blue and green rounded green egg had me hypnotized.
the egg made a pulsating *woosh* woooooosh*
sound in my head along with the cruelest headache. until i heard -
~buuuuuzzzz~

as i read the message in confusion i text back

sammy- omg really why u didn't tell me u was coming.
as i place my phone on my bed i placed my egg in the closet in a shoe box i had stored in there. i ran down the stares as fast as i could to open the door for jackie. i flug the door jackie standing there scowling at me as if i kill her favorite pet in the world. "jeez you could have been any longer opening up the door" she rushed out to say before i apologized. she gently pushed me aside and walked right in. jackie been my best friend since 4th grade and she always hanging out at my place because she told me once her family always starting drama at her house. "i'm sorry i didn't hear the door bell while i was in my room i must've got distracted" i said with a nervous grin on my face. she took off her black boots she wore all the time that's has the leather coming off like it's a worn out sticker. i pulled on her purple hoodie with her hood on her head "come on hurry up before i start the game before u get in there" i said as i ran up stares.
