Audrey cringed before she even opened her eyes. The more aware she became, the more painful the pressure in her head became. She immediately recalled the amount of liquor she had consumed because she could taste it on the dryness of her tongue. Luckily the sheets were cool against her bare skin, which offered her some comfort. Until she began to wonder why she was sprawled naked in her bed, with no blanket to cover her. Reluctantly she began to open her eyes. In the same moment that she parted her lashes she heard the insistent ringing of her cell phone coming from a few feet away. The ring made her head throb, and her stomach churn. She looked around for it as she slowly became aware of the fact that she was not sprawled naked in her bed. In fact, she wasn't in her bed at all. The walls were painted a pale shade of yellow, the carpet was a deep tan hue, and the furniture actually matched and appeared rather expensive. She had never seen the place she was in before. At least not in the daylight. Her heart raced as she reached for the sheet that was only successfully covering one of her feet.

“Could you please shut that thing off,” a voice grumbled from beside her. A voice that set her on fire inside the moment she heard it. Gasping she tugged the sheet harder until she could cover herself. Doing so only succeeded in uncovering the lounging frame of the man lying in bed beside her. Slowly the sheet made its way off of his skin, revealing him inch by bare inch. Audrey's eyes widened with every patch of tanned skin that was revealed to her.

“Oh no,” she groaned under her breath as panic began to set in.

“Please, please, just turn the damned thing off,” the man growled and started to turn to face her.

“Don't!” she shrieked and clutched the sheet tighter to her. “Don't, I'm not dressed-”

“Uh, okay,” he chuckled quietly and kept his head turned away.

Audrey fumbled through the pile of clothing beside the bed, under which her purse was hidden. She rummaged in her purse until she found her phone. She quickly turned it to silent and saw that it was Amber calling. She had also been texting.

OMG you would not believe who was at the club last night.

Answer your phone Audrey!

Where are you?

Audrey quickly sent a text back to her sister so that she wouldn't worry.

I'm fine, will call soon.

But as she tucked her phone back into her purse, she wondered if she really was fine. Her body ached in the most pleasant way, but it was a foreign feeling too. As she sat on the edge of the bed with the sheet draped around her she began to recall the night before and all of its mind-blowing aspects. She was getting aroused just remembering the way his lips had suckled.

“Are you okay?” the man beside her asked. Audrey refused to turn around. Her cheeks were so hot

that she was sure she was blushing for once. She couldn't believe how reckless she had been. And yet, she didn't exactly regret it. It had been an eye-opening experience and not necessarily one she didn't want to repeat.

“I'm sorry, I don't usually do these types of things,” Audrey offered lamely without looking at him. She was sure that a lot of women used that line. But she meant it. He was only the second man she had ever been with. She groaned under her breath as she realized she didn't even know his name.

“It's alright,” he murmured as he reached out and trailed his fingertips down through the thick swath of her dark hair. “Didn't you enjoy it?” he asked in his sultry voice. “You seemed to be enjoying it,” he added with a slight teasing in his tone.
