Harry Styles. A cute name for a cute person.
Harry loves anything cute. So you could probably imagine how his closet looks.
Harry is sweet, but knows what he wants.
He was able to nearly get a dorm with no roommates for his first year of uni, just by flirting his way through. But it went to a boy with disabilities.
Harry respects that. If anything, he's really happy that whatever they're going through isn't holding them back.
He's glad they got whatever room they wanted. They deserve it much more than Harry.
Harry isn't very keen on being practically pushed into living with a random stranger.
Harry isn't antisocial or anything, but the chances of getting a roommate that you actually get along with is slim.
He is really excited for his first year of university, though.
Harry smiles to himself as he approaches the building he's been waiting for ever since freshman year of high school.
He remembers sadly as his best friend, Louis, was suppose to wait two years before going to college so that they could do it together.
Louis would have done anything for Harry.
But things change, obviously.
He shakes the thought from his head.
Then, deciding he is going to need help getting his stuff up to his dorm, he sends a text to Niall telling him to meet him in the lobby area of the building his dorm is in.
In the meantime Harry sits on a bench holding his round fishbowl with one little pink fish in it. "Periwinkle, it'll be okay. I won't let anyone take you away." He says and clutches the bowl holding the oblivious fish in it.
That fish is practically his baby, Harry thinks as Niall walks in.
Niall sighs. "Harry do you really think your roommate is going to allow a fish in the room?" He says as he grabs some of Harry's bags, seeing his priority is Periwinkle.
"Yes. Why wouldn't they? I take care of her and she doesn't make a mess or any sounds. I don't see a problem." Harry says looking between Niall and his brightly colored fish.
Niall shrugs in response and starts walking to the door. "Pick up the rest of the luggage, I'm carrying as much shit as I can and I'm not making two trips."
Harry laughs a little and grabs the rest with one hand, figuring Periwinkle deserves her own.
Two flights of stairs later, they're standing outside of Harry's new dorm.
He's so nervous to find out who his roommate is.
Could they be soulmates? Could he be his best friend? Could they hate each other?
All of those thoughts are swimming around in his anxiety filled head while Niall grabs the key and unlocks the door.
Harry steps in and walks over to what he assumes is his side of the room, seeing the whole room is really a complete mess, he really doesn't know.
Thank god he doesn't have the bed closest to the door, though. If someone comes in in the middle of the night this means he most likely won't die first.
Niall follows with the rest of his stuff and plops down on his bed without acknowledging the stare from the boy sitting at the desk.
"Hello! I'm Harry!" Harry says with a smile as he extends his hand to shake his apparent new roommate's hand.
