Where would we be without our mothers?
Who else would show that kind of love?
Who other than your mother would you go to,
If you needed to confide in someone you trust?
Where would we be without our mothers?
Who else would set our path right?
Who other would have the patience to fight our battles,
Until emerge out of the darkness, led by the shining light?
Where would we be without our mothers?
Who else has the strength?
Who other bears both our burdens and theirs,
Selflessly at their own expense?
Indeed, no other will love you so.
Indeed, no other can persist as she.
Indeed, no other has such clout
And cares for you most in your times of need.
