I cannot breathe
My mind confused
I'm drowning in this ocean
I can't help but feel used
.
As waves engulf me
I try to survive
My body in a struggle
For another chance in life
.
My arms wave frantically
In search for some land
I know I won't make it
Without my Lord's hand
.
The world has turned its back on me
So have the earth and the seas
I know there is none to help me
But the creator of the trees
.
So I turn my head up
And look towards the sky
I begin to supplicate
To the One, the Most High
.
Through the dark tempests
The moon has a glow
Allah is watching over me
That much I know
.
My soul fills with hope
My heart gleams with love
I'm soaring into the blackness
Like a pure white dove
.
The blackness slowly fades
As night turns into day
Rays of sunshine blind my sight
From an island not far away
.
I open my eyes to a new world
What I see is not a dream!
Looking up with a smile I realise
It's never too late to turn to Him!
