The rivalry we broke

Chapter one

Hey guys my names Servanna and this is my first book , so please don't be harsh about spelling and that , otherwise I hope you enjoy the book Xx

My names Annabelle and let's just say I'm a average girl. Absolutely nothing interesting about me.....well that's at lest what I've been told by many.

But hey ho I'm going to tell you anyway, I'm 17 years old I go to Oakwood high , weird name I know . I have 3 amazing best friends who I'd do anything for , Julia is one , let's just say she's my ultimate favourite person in the world because only she understands what I go through. James is another , he's so cute and funny , fit at the same time , loads of girls want him , they beg at his feet but he doesn't want them . If we weren't such good friends i would go there with him.
Omg really Annabelle , pull your shit together.

What I mean to say is he's really fit , ummm anyway to my last best friend George , he's what you can call the joker of the group , the same thing applies for him with the girls but I feel like he has a thing for Julia but hasn't said anything or made a move , so I decided to keep quiet about it.

I love them all to pieces but the one thing that gets in the way of all of us hanging out is our PARENTS, oh yeh that's right you heard me our parents. Julia's parents really like me because I'm what they call 'a good girl and hard working ' but my friends think otherwise.

Mine and Julia's parents have all been friends since senior school , which was a bit creepy but now it's fine. The main problem was James and George, our parents have had rivalries from way back , they say they can't tell us but I know they just don't want to . I'm forbidden to hang out with them or go near them make eye contact.......I think you get the gist.

But obviously knowing us of course we'd break that rule and all be friends, we couldn't care less about family beef because it was way in the past . My parents are strict , my dad hit me once because he caught me talking to James outside of school , no one knows except Julia , I get scared near my parents , I know they would hit me just so I'm not with them , but I don't give a shit.

So here we all are now sitting at the canteen, all around a table bickering about our parents , and if you haven't guessed already this is the case pretty much every day .

"Hello Annabelle, I will slap you in the face if you don't answer me " Julia warningly says , while her hand is right next to my face . I glare at her and slap it away .

"Jesus Christ Jules no need to slap me I just kinda spaced out " I say slowly , staring at the middle of the table. They all look at me with raised eyebrows, i look up and gave them a ' what are you looking at ' face .

"Anyway back to what's we were saying " Julia continues taking her eyes off of me slowly then back to everyone else "what the FUCK are we going to do , about the upcoming anniversary " Julia says whilst running her hands through her hair looking frustrated, I sigh.....this is so stupid this whole anniversary thing we have . If your confused allow me to explain, the anniversary that we're all worried about is the very day the Tuckers and Andersons betrayed mine and Julia's family's (the smiths) , whatever way round it happened anyway, what we do every year on the day (March 20th) is go to our ancestors graves put flowers down and pray . After we all go back to our house and basically what I like to call is be miserable. Anytime we see any one from James's family or George's we have to pick up a stone and Throw it at them , yep that's right throw a STONE .

I never knew my family could be so low as to do that because back then our family was helping their family, they were poor and we were rich tired so we tried to help them , by of course they took t yo fat and stole well they tried to steal , that's just the basics but it's more in depth then that but they refuse to tell us .
