" Another long day." I was exhausted from the things we had to do at school. There was a group project that involved me having to talk to people and the worst part was that it was during my free time and they would not shut up. Why do I always have to have talk to people or me having to them? I was on my way home when my muscles started to ache and my vision was beginning to switch between a blood red vision to a normal vision until it stayed blood red. " What is happening?" My nerves started to twist, my bones started break and shift within me. I started to be pulled to the ground as if a chain was wrapped around my neck and someone at the other end was pulling it then I looked up at the night sky. My eyes locked on to the moon and an old instinct rolled over me, something I haven’t felt in a century. The moon was full, but it was a special moon phase. " Lunar... eclipse." I was changing into my other form, but this was much more... painful than usual. My fingers curled and started to grow fur as it changed into a paw. My spine began to grow out of the end of my spine just above my butt and into a tail which felt like someone was hitting me on the back with a metal baseball bat over and over.
It was finally over after having to feel that for a few minutes, but the only thing that was different was that I was in my wolf form then I began to sniff the air. " That... that smell... I want it," I closed my eyes to track down where that scent was coming from and I ended up in my prey's dream. The prey was dreaming of the mountains, my lucky day. She was out camping, but she left her campsite to go look for a field of flowers, how adorable. I had to scare her enough to wake her up. I stalked her throughout the dream and every time she saw me I would disappear into the shadows. The more I followed her, the more I could recognize who it was. A girl, an innocent little girl that goes to the same school I go to. I’ve seen her around and she seem pretty nice, explains why she was my target. Anyways, I could hear her heartbeat race in fear every time she would see me. My hunger was growing the more I could hear her heartbeat, knowing how fast her blood would pump throughout her body, but she was beginning to calm down, now is my chance. When she was vulnerable, I stood behind her, waiting for her to turn around. I made a cracking noise to make her turn around and once she did, I pounced at her with my jaw wide open, scaring her awake before I got the chance to attack. I opened my eyes, " The town." I ran off to the town then I sniffed the air.
" Where is she?" I growled then I hid in the shadows and waited. A few minutes went by and there she was, walking towards me alone. I turned into my human form and pulled my hood over my head. After she walked by where I was, I followed her. The lights flickered and every time they went out, I moved closer. One more flicker off, I was behind her. I was ready to grab her, but the light turned back on and she could see my shadow so once the light turned off and she turned around I moved to the shadows between two buildings. " Plan B," I went deeper into up in the shadows and mimicked a familiar voice to her, a dog. I made it seem like her dog was in pain to lure her to me. She was hesitant, but she made it deep enough into the alleyway.
I took my chances, I turned into my wolf form, revealing my glowing blood red eyes and I attacked by going straight for her neck. I felt my teeth sink deep into her flesh and into her blood pulse, killing her within an instant. I fed off of her neck by sucking the blood out of her until her heart had nothing left to pump then I started to eat the flesh off of the side of her neck until I froze. I heard a voice, a very familiar voice. I let go of her neck, " Eclipse." I turned back into my human form, but I had no control of what I was doing. I bit into my wrist until it bled then I fed my blood to her and forced it down her throat until I could hear her heart pumping again ever so slowly. I picked her up then I went deeper into the shadows and started to travel through them until I was on the top of a mountain. I laid her down over a flat rock, " Sie ist alle deine, Eklipse." ("She's all yours, Eclipse"). The night sky went black for a moment then visible again. I watched the girl as her wound began to heal quickly.
Once it was healed, it formed a blue like dahlia on the left side of her neck as if it was a bruise and she tried to catch a breath of air. I sat down and watched until she saw me. A sudden fear struck her and her heart began to race like in her dream. Neither one of us spoke until my eyes flashed a red light and I grinned in an evil way then I said, " Eclipse." She looked at me confused and before she could speak, I said it again, " Eclipse." And that, my friends, is where a new life began.
