Mothers Day

Beginning...

Two months since my mother's death and Mother's day was great... I couldn't be in my own house with my step mom and father. I went to Eddy's house and ate dinner with his mother and grandmother. But while driving to school the next day all I could think about was what happened. I woke up with blood on my hands and the sight of my dead mother, the police said it was a break-in cause the house was in ruins. I couldn't remember anything from that night but ever since my nightmares follow me into the day. Eddy pulled into the school parking lot and parked the car, turning to me he stared at me with his dark green eyes. "Are you sure that you are okay to go to school today? I can drive you to Cold Stones or something and get you something to eat or coffee." No matter how much it was tempting I couldn't make him miss any school, and neither could I. "No, no I'm fine, really. Central Park will have to wait till tonight." After school I was planning on taking a cab to the Green landfill. "Plus everyone has forgotten about my mother anyways..." Eddy rests his hand on mine and gives me a peck on the cheek. Unbuckling and getting out of the car we walk hand in hand to go to our first class, science.
Ender caught up to us on the way. "Hey Rae how are you today? Did you have a nice weekend?" He didn't realize that it was not the best thing to say till he looked at Eddy's face. He turned with a goodbye and went to his class as i called goodbye after him.
Science was slow boring and utterly lonely, even with my burning star Eddy next to me, I feel as if in a dark hole. "Her mama is so dead, people ask was your mom harambe?" I turn twoards them giving them a glare- I stand up and walk over to the peice of shit lacrosse players, they aren't football nor basketball players and cheerleaders never cheer at their games. I reach over and grab the pair of large scissors from the teacher's desk and with all my might swung. It plunged into the boys neck and blood squirted out, I pulled out the scissors and he falls to the floor grabbing his neck.

"Rae!" Eddy screeches in my ear, people are staring at me as I am in a trance having yet another to real of a daydream. The boys in the corner laugh at my entrapment and I only wish my murderous thoughts came true.
I stand and walk out of the class with Eddy on my tail right as the bell rings. Eddy stops and pulls me to the side of the hallway in-between the wall and a water fountain. "Are you okay? That was the fourth time you zoned out this week?" His eyes looked me up and down as if touching me and evaluating me with every glance. "You go into your own world and I only wish I could follow you there..." Ender comes slouching down the hallway wearing a different but similar sweat shirt that he wasn't wearing earlier.
"I'm gonna fuck up those guys that mess with you, really I will, just say the word and I'm off!" Ender was always trying to pick a fight he'd never intend to start. "We should all head to class, this was all just nothing okay?" Eddy knows how when I want to drop the subject we drop it but Ender however never gets the point.
Starting to stroll in the general direction of my next class, ender goes on and on still talking the whole time, making no sense what so ever. I duck into my last period of the day only smiling back at Eddy before I sit in my seat and dread the last hour of Spanish with no friends to nag me.
I sit down doodling on the desk. "Ms. Fray, please, answer the question on the board." I stare at him blankly, Mr. Arias always hated me. He definitely wasn't my favorite teacher. I sit there staring at him, looking at the question it was rather easy but... "Can you really be this stupid, it's the easiest question just answer it!!!" That was it for me. I stood up and hop over my desk lunging for him. I wrap my hands around his neck. Using my body weight to knock him down and keep him down I pull back my arm and... Everyone is staring at me as I sit a top the teacher, oh shit, this was another daydream come true. I really did swing at him, how was I supposed to explain. I stand up and run out the door. Sitting in the hallway I want to throw up. After a few minutes the teacher comes out approaching me like a wild cat.
"I'm sorry I didn't..." I sounded crazy! All of a sudden two men open the door at the end of the hallway in all white. They were wearing scrubs like they do at hospitals. They approach, "ma'am will you please come with us?" I stare and nod, each of them put a hand on my arm.
