Chapter 5

Armani POV-

We survived the mall today, I now know to shop online until my "incident" dies down. Why, You may ask, well..

FLASHBACK*****

No One's POV-

Armani and Abby entered the mall and decided to go to Urban Outfitters first.. They started their journey, pushing through the other bustling teenagers.. They received many murmurs about Armani's presence, that was expected.. Their whole High School knew of the situation, some believed it, others shunned the crazy idea of someone they knew of being kidnapped. For some, it takes for them to treat traumatic things as fairytales, as a coping method.

"ARMANI!!"

*FLASH, FLASH*

"OVER HERE!"

"WHY ARE YOU REFUSING TO SPEAK ON YOUR KIDNAPPING??"

"WAS IT ALL A FAKE?"

"WAS IT A CRY FOR ATTENTION OR HELP?"

"ARMANI!!"

Armani knew to stay quiet. If you give them a piece, they'll just want more.. Soon the reporters started to realize that Armani wasn't going to spill anything.. So they moved to Abby..

"ABAGAIL! ABAGAIL!"

"WHAT WAS IT LIKE TO LOSE A FRIEND?"

"HOW DID IT FEEL TO POSSIBLY NOT EVER SEE HER AGAIN?"

"WHAT DO YOU KNOW OF HER EXPERIENCE?"

"HOW MUCH WILL IT TAKE FOR YOU TO TALK??"

The girls soon escaped the reporters and later got some shopping done..

But they were met with more interrogation..

"Oh my gosh! Armani!! I can't believe you're safe!" Yailan(Yay-Len) screamed embracing them both.

Yailan used to bully Armani in middle school, and never liked her since she dated Chresanto. But now she wanted to "Friends" with her..Bitch Swerve..

"Why would you care either way?" Armani retorted as they walked away..

Yailan knew Armani would be the talk of the school when classes resumed after summer, and she wanted to be apart of her popularity..

They were later met by other people from school, varying from classmates, to former bullies, to bystanders, to no-body's ... But you see.. After someone was in distress.. and is in the public eye all over the world.. You're their new BFF... But Before that... You never gave a damn.. And when this dies down.. You still won't give a damn..

So that is what happened.. Oh trust and believe we aren't the only ones being bombarded..

People harass my Mother at work, My brother, Chresanto, My Aunt's and Uncles, Cousins, Even My Father.. Sometimes I think the aftermath of this was much, much worse than the actual Kidnapping..

And this time.. There's nowhere for me.. Or Anyone for that matter to....
