"You seem distracted." Splinter commented. Ash couldn't think about anything else all day. "I'm fine Splinter, honestly." Ash replied. Splinter thought for a moment, "Honestly hm?" Ash realized that Splinter would find out she was lying. The young girl held her breath, hoping her sensei wouldn't see the lie she was telling. "I'm going out." Ash said and began to walk to the exit when Splinter stopped her. "You seem to be doing that a lot." Splinter commented. Ash froze, "Uh...I have...been....meeting a old friend! Yeah!"
"Who is this old friend?" Splinter asked, "Uh.....Jason!" Ash quickly said, "Gotta go! Seeya!" She said and ran out of the sewers onto the rooftops. The nightly breeze was light and yet, cool. Ash crossed her arms. "Ok. I know you are here." She said. She didn't trust this, Jackson but, she wanted to know why he wanted to meet her. "You're right, I am here." A voice said from behind. Ash whipped around to see Jackson leaning against a wall. "Why did you want to meet me here?" Ash asked. Jackson didn't say anything, only walked to Ash. Ash backed away some until she looked behind her to see a wall. The kid looked up to see Jackson looming over her. "As I said before," Jackson began, "I wanted to meet you here to find out more about you." "Your the Shredder's son!" Ash exclaimed, "How do I know I can trust you?!" Jackson's red eyes met Ash's green and purple ones, "Because I'm not like him." Jackson replied. Ash didn't seem so convinced. "Please!" Jackson said, Grabbing her hands, "Please, let me show you I'm not like him for tonight, then we don't have to be friends or meet each other anymore." Ash sighed, "Fine." She said. Jackson smiled some and let go of one of her hands, "Come on then." He said, "Let me show you a place that you might like."
