me and my parents have this thing
if I send a letter (any letter) through text to them
they call me and tell me that they're picking me up
so people don't think you're just leaving them and being rude
because maybe you text your parent to come pick you up and your friends are looking at your phone
and then it's just rude
i have it with my parents because I get really bad panic attacks
it helps
