Today's my birthday, I'm turning fifteen and finally getting adopted by the family I've always wanted to adopt me. I have my adoption mom, Janice and her husband Henry. They have two kids , Summer which is eighteen and Daniel which is ten. I've never felt this welcomed at any other house than this one. Summer and I argue like regular sisters would, Me and Daniel are usually playing video games together. You know I've never actually been adopted, everyone else usually gives up on me before they give me a chance. I can admit I've made a couple of mistakes in my other foster homes. Some homes I've been in they just change for no reason. People change just like seasons someone once said to me...
_____Flashback #1_____
One afternoon after school, my siblings and I came home to the house filled with the smell of smoke with the disgusting smell of beer and liquor. We scurried to our room and shut the door behind us. We all know was going to happen to us. Our adoption dad called our names over and over. We heard stumbling and things falling off of the kitchen table. "Come here" he finally said. My little sister was trembling, she curled up behind me. "COME HERE!" Slowly we walked out of our bedroom to stand in front of him. His eyes were glassy and bright red, he kept laughing under his breath. "You. You. Y'all need to clean this house right now." We didn't hesitate m, we started cleaning as fast as we could. I was washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen. My little sister was in the living room tidying it up. Ryan was in the bedroom folding laundry and making our beds. Lynda was in the bathrooms cleaning those up. You know we always use to be doing it wrong though. All I heard next was the sound of Ryan screaming. "Stop screaming! Stop screaming now!" The sound of Ryan's scream fell away. I could only imagine what had happen. Lynda was crying, my little sister by my side. Before he noticed I called the police on the phone. We all ran outside to wait for them to get there. I began to hear sirens coming from the distance. "Who called them?!" I heard him yell. He ran out side with a gun in his hands, eventually pointing it at us. The sounds of gun shots and hitting the ground is all I remember.
I was asleep for 3 days, I woke up not knowing where I was. They took my sister and Lynda away and I had no idea where they were. Not a clue. Finally I was put into the foster home I'm in now.
