Austin's P.O.V
" I HATE you." Amber said looking Phil dead in the eyes.
"But Am-"
"look she doesn't want you here so I think it's best you leave." I told him. He shook his head and walked out.
"Why did he do all that stuff to me?" She asked curiously. I sat there quietly trying to find an answer. I ended up not saying anything, but just staring at the hidiously white hospital walls. "So i'm guessing you don't know?" she said curiosity dripping off her lips. I ran my fingers in my hair not knowing what to say. After a couple minutes a nurse came into the room telling me visiting hours are over.
Amber's P.O.V
"Is he your boyfriend?" The nuse asked after Austin left. I just shrugged. In all honesty I didn't know, my mind sorta felt blank.
"So what were my test results?" "They were good, nothing serious." I gave her a curious look. "So I can leave? right?" She came over to my bed and leaned towards my face. "The results were positive meaning there's nothing wrong, but I demanded to let you stay a little bit longer." I looked at her and rolled my eyes. "For someone who just got out of a coma you have quite the attitude." "what did you just say?" She didn't answer but shook her head.
I sighed shamelessly. "Can I get some food?" All she did was nod and put some clothes at the end of my bed.
"You're able to go down to the cafeteria if you'd like, but be careful." She exited my room and I changed into the thin white pullover and red pajama shorts. I walked into the elevaor pressing the 1st floor button. I watched the doors close untill a pair of hands came between the doors causing them to open. It was a guy who looked about my age.
"First floor." He said pointing to the buttons on the side of the elevator. I pressed the button so the boy would stop staring at the side of my face. He looked at the bandage wrapped around my head and from the corner of my eye I saw him as he furrowed his eyebrows and tilt his head. The confusion on his face bothered me because I couldn't tell him what or how it happened, but it bothered me even more because I didn't know either. I've never felt a feeling like this before, a feeling where you're so confused with everything that you're willing to tell anyone that listened, but the thing was he didn't know me and I didn't know him. I sighed deeply which was a bad idea because a sudden rush of pain shot to my head. I stumbled backwards and hit the elevator wall.
"Are you okay?" The boy said rushing over to help me to my feet. I tried to mumble a response but failed in the process. He rubbed my back and repeatedly told me to take deep breaths and calm down. After a moment the pain began to fade and I was able to stand on my own.
"Sorry.....I guess I shouldn't have made such a big movement with the condition I'm in." He chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck.
"It's cool, all that matters is that you're okay." We exchanged smiles as silence filled the small area around us. I sighed mentally as the opening of the elevator saved me from awkward tension.
"Guess I'll see you around then." I told him speeding out of the elevator.
"Wait, I need to tell you something important." He said grabbing my arm. I raised my eyebrows telling him to continue. "I'm Alex and you should call me sometime." He put a note in my hand and smiled before turning down a corridor. I smiled and put the note in my pocket
As I walked down the hallway I noticed the sound of muffled crying coming from one of the rooms. I looked through the small window and saw two older parents holding the hand of the little boy who laid in the hospital bed. Where were my parents when I woke up this morning? The question ran through my head over and over again. I shrugged it off and continued trying to find the cafeteria. Getting my hopes up as I turned another corner, hoping to find the cafeteria but ended up at another hallway.
"Need some help?" I turned around to see Alex with his hand extended out for me to grab, which I happily excepted. "You could've said you were going to the cafeteria, I would've shown you the way." I smiled up at him.
"Oh boy." I thought to myself.

I don't really do stuff like this but a friend of mine(xxdreammagconxx) just put up a new story called Summer Loving which is a Matthew Espinosa love story and I'm actually one of the characters in the story!
