Memories of this place fade, it's funny how things we wish we could forget, we never do... but things we promised ourselves we'd hold onto, keep in our minds and think about, never forget, are forgotten so easily. It must be because we only see what we want, and reminding ourselves not to think only makes us think more. But in reality you really do want to remember these things, you don't want to forget them, even if the do bring pain. It truly is foolish to forget something painful, because then history will repeat it's self, you will never truly learn or grow.... even though it's hard to want to think about it or hold onto it. It's strange how you can never escape it though, how it hangs in your mind, awake or asleep, highs and lows, good times, and bad times. But it isn't until you let go of it and say I forgive you, I forgive myself, does it truly go away..... but even then, you can't change the past.
