The Package

I was looking for prompts and I found a really cool one!

I was sitting in my house with my 'twin' brother when the doorbell rings. My brother and I did rock paper scissors to see who would open it. I sadly lost and marched to the door while he reveled in my defeat. I opened up the door scratching my head when realizing how late it was. I looked out and realized what it was. I turned back around, smiling and yelled," We got another Kevin." He smiled and helped me carry it inside. "What should we do with this one, Lacey?", He asked grinning hoping to have something to do. I pondered his question and sat down next to the package."Well we might as well open it right?", I replied pulling out my pocket knife. "Go right ahead Lace. I did it last time.", He said politely backing away. I cut through the plastic letting the object out of the package. Kevin went towards it and poked at it. "Alice, is it defective?", He asked slightly frustrated. "Better not be bro. That would be fucking awful.", I answered prodding at it with my knife. After I pierced it's delicate arm with my claw it groaned and moved uncurling to face us. "Hello, My name is Beta6923.", It said. "That's a lame-ass name! Can I name him, Lace?", He asked poking Beta6923's tummy. "Fine, since I named the last one.", I said a little annoyed that we did not receive two. "I am going to name you Aura.", Kevin said smiling happily now cuddling into Aura. "Aur-ra?", Aura pronounced a little confused. "Isn't Aura a feminine name Kev?", I thought out-loud smiling at the scene. "I like it! I think it's very nice! Right Aura?", Kevin said looking up at him with his glowing yellow eyes. "Yes, I agree. I think it is a wonderful name", Aura replied now smiling showing his dull omnivore teeth. "God dammit Kevin you guys are so cute!", I said smiling, my sharp cat like teeth peeking out, at the site. Kevin blushes his pointed teeth showing as I stand up and walk over to the kitchen and begin to make dinner. "You are such a cute human, Aura!", I hear Kevin say making my ears perk up with interest. "Your very cute as well Kevin", Aura replies making a giggling noise. I smile to myself being happy with the order.
