Romeo and his buddies went crashing a party

The greatest that he'd ever found

And when later he saw her look out of the window

When she sang of the love that she had for our hero
He hardly could trust his own eyes
So he stood and made himself known:
"Julietta!"

Juliet had a heart like a jewel
Every part of her soul reaching outward
But their fathers were full of old hatreds
And would never approve of their marriage
So together they went to the altar

and then they got wedded in secret
Then her cousin Tybalt (O Tybalt!)
Challenged him to a fight (to a fight!)
But he just wouldn't duel (Romeo!)
cause it just wasn't right (No one knows!)
Then Mercutio said (There you go!)
Took his sword up instead (Romeo!)
when the dust all had cleared (no no no!)
Romeo's friend was dead (Mercutio!)
Juliet did pretend (so you say!)
To take poison and die (so you die!)
Or so Romeo thought (Romeo!)
Didn't know was a lie (no no no!)
He took poison himself (no no no!)
then she came back to life (that was odd!)
found his body instead (no no no!)
Killed herself with his knife (O my God!)
Take it back! [Take it back!]
At the kid's funeral (Juliet!)
The families had to make peace (Romeo!)
In their sadness they knew (rest in peace)
All their hatred must cease (so it goes)
Tell us how should we feel? (Juliet)
What am I supposed to speak? (Romeo)
Should we be glad that they died (Juliet)
With their love at it's peak? (Romeo)
