He ran.
As far and as fast as his paws would take him.
He was being chased, or was he chasing?
He ran past glowing red eyes, it would seem like a blur, but for him, it was an eternity.
Time stood still as those hungry, demeaning eyes bore into his skull.
His soul was being watched, examined, criticized.
He ran.
Now on feet, he ran.
Breath heavy.
He knew what was coming, yet it still caught him off guard.
Hands bigger than his face with skin redder than his blood, close around his fragile neck, so tight threatening to snap if hair more of pressure was given.
And then, something new.
The softest kiss he could ever imagine gracing his lips.
He startled awake, head throbbing from all the tension received from nothing but a silly dream.
Still processing the new input in his recurring dream, he blindly reached out to the left to grab a bottle of water on the nightstand.
Instead of his hand being greeted with the cold hard exterior of plastic, he felt semi-warm flesh. As a reflex from the unknown object, he drew he hand back as quick as it reached, the force making him topple off the bed and on the floor, bumping his head on the stand in the process.
He groans and looks down only to see that he was buck ass naked. He then notices his flaccid member, covered in dried seimen and what looked like blood.
Panicked, he stands to see his bed.
The sight might never be expected on an Alpha's bed.The Alpha who promised his pack, his family, not but a year ago, to honour, to serve, to protect them, now has what looks like a half dead, naked maiden covered in claw marks, lying on his blood stained bed.
And that wasn't even the worst thing the amnesiac alpha saw. The place his eyes landed next and what was on there would probably be the death of him, literally.
Her neck...
The place where a beautiful mating mark must be, lies the most gruesome bite ever seen. Her body is trying to reject the non-mate mark, but since it is that of an alpha's, it will try to own her till her body accepts or her death, whichever comes first.
Even in the distance from which Axel stood, he could see the damage his alpha canines did. The sheer length of his canines could make a full grown man wet his pants, just imagine the size of it. If this weren't such a dire situation, he would have been proud of his work.
He felt light headed; sick even. His ears were ringing from the silence.
Silence... There was no heart beat. No chance of saving her. She was dead. He had killed someone's daughter, someone's sister, someone's soul mate. He had killed an innocent.
He was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't hear many fast footsteps closing in.
He was so dazed that he didn't register the door being torn down, the Beta, his best friend, shouting orders at everyone who barged in the room.
When the wails of anguished parents and a sad howl of loneliness rose from the distance began, only then did Axel snap out of his thoughts.By that time he was forced into the ground and was being held down. The Beta had him in a head lock. From where his eyes were, two pairs of feet came to view. He did not have to look up to see who it was.
"How could you?" Asked a despaired voice which Axel was accustomed to hear sing him lullabies and play scold him in front of his younger brothers, his mother's tears were flooding her face and dripping on the floor. But what he heard next was what broke him too. "You are not my son. Take him to the Elder Wolf Council, let them decide what is to happen. I shall show no support for this rapist and murderer." His father's voice boomed and echoed, breaking his and Axel's ties. The effect of breaking the ties were evident on Axel's face- scrunched up in pain, tears streaming down his face the second his father finished.
He looks around to at least find a look of sympathy from his fellow pack mates who crowded around him. Looking into their eyes he saw and felt nothing. He was confused but that confusion went as soon as it came. 'Your father, the alpha, broke all ties with you, the future alpha. If the alpha breaks ties with anyone from the pack, son or not, the pack link dies.' His wolf said in a monotone voice as he always does.
I watched all this unfurl from the comfortable darkness of my abode.
That's it... My work here is done. He's all mine! Now nothing... NOTHING will keep him away from me. I smirked at my thoughts.HE'S MINE!!!!
