I couldn't believe my ears. Alex? The barn hero? But how?! Like I said, The legend occurred over 200 years ago. Alex is 14, like me. How could he possibly have done that way back then and still be just 14 today? Alex chuckled. He noticed my confusion. I looked at him with wide eyes until he told me to relax and follow him. We walked into the forest as Alex inspected some trees. My curiosity grew as we continued through the forest. "Aha! Found it!" Alex exclaimed. He took out an object that looked like a pen. "...Ok, and a pen will help us because...?" Alex laughed. "Ha ha ha! Oh, Max, this is not a pen." He clicked it, and it started flashing in a certain beat. Alex shoved the pen-like object in a tree. The tree glowed green... and slowly opened.

Bright white steam leaked out of the doorway. When it cleared, I peeked inside and saw lots of buttons and dials and, well, you name it. He stepped in and pushed a few mechanisms. "Only one person can fit in here at a time. Hit this button," Alex explained as he pointed to a large, blue button that seemed to stand out in the reflective capsule. He pressed the button and said, "See you at the..." That's all I heard before the doors closed. At the what? Oh dear. I didn't really know what to do. I flinched in surprise when the doors suddenly opened- empty! Hesitantly, I stepped inside and pressed the blue button. I regretted it the moment I touched it. A strange rumbling noise started, and the capsule vibrated. I looked at the walls and was astonished. The walls- they were melting around me! The lights dimmed as my fear grew. A red light flashed a few times... Then, blackness.
