The Next Day...  

"Pikachu, lets go" I said.  We had a long way to the Indigo Plains.    I climbed out of my hut and started down the mountain.  I had time to think about what I was gonna do.  I signed up online as Aaron Blaze of Mt. Silver.  I was gonna be a hardened stone-cold bad-ass.  I was wearing a mask to cover up my identity, still being a fugitive, and I want to humiliate the traitors.  I'm gonna destroy them in battle.  7 years on Mt Silver has hardened all my Pokemon.  Plus catching Mew after a year had to help my chances as well.  My battle team will be Mew, Pikachu, Greninja, Charizard, Snorlax, and Lucario.  I would walk down to the town at the base of the mountain and then take Charizard to the Indigo Plains.  

Several Hours Later... 

The Indigo Plains,  My first Pokemon League Battle was here.  I thought.  I walked trhough the grass towards the Poke Center.

"Lucario Go"  I mutter throwing out Lucario.  Pikachu on my shoulder, and Lucario by my side, I walk into the Poke Center.  

"Hi How may we Help you?" Nurse joy exclaims as I walk up to the counter.  

"I would like check in to my room, name: Aaron Blaze" I say

"Okay, here you go, room 249"  She says handing me a room key.

"Thanks." I say.  I walk into the Pokemon lounge letting Pikachu off my Shoulder.

"Can we stay here?" Lucario says through Aura.  I nod.  They both  deserve some fun time.  I walk into the cafe ordering a Caffè macchiato with Caramel topping.  I sit down in one of the chairs.   I look around the space, I haven't been in a Poke Center since my trainer days.  I sip my coffee when I hear a voice from behind me makes me sit up.

"Excuse me can you tell me you Name"  Serena says.  I turn around, and I'm face to face with her.  Several things go through my mind.  

"I'm Aaron Blaze."  I say, trying not to smile.  I haven't seen her in forever, and she looks hella good after hitting puberty.

"Oh, well nice to meet you, It's just your hair and eyes remind me of someone."  Serena says.  She then reach at her neck pulls out a locket, opens it and shows me a picture of... Me?

"My best friend"  Serena says.  I can she that she's trying to hold in tears.  

"You may know him, he was in the headlines, 7 years to today."  Serena says.  I pat her shoulder.  I really want to pull off my mask, and pull her into my kiss and embrace, and wash her sadness away.  But I can't, not until I win, and when I win I will try to clear my name.   She walks away and I realize that i'm hard.  I quickly walk away.  I head up to my room.  Does she really remember me?  I thought she would move on, the way she talked when we last met.  I walk into my room and take of my mask and jacket.  I quickly pull out my phone.  I log in to my instagram, and scroll through my contacts.  I'm looking for Serena's number, when I realize I got this phone after I left all those years ago.  

I should probably train for the first battle.  I think. I put my mask back in, but I do

nt bother I walk out into the battle field.  

"Greninja go!  Use water shuriken... "  I yell.  Little was I aware, which I hould have been, being an Aura reader, someone was watching me.
