Gerard's first glimpse of the new neighbors came when he was sitting on the porch after the latest summer rain storm passed.

He heard a high pitched screaming from across the street and stood up, ready to call the cops.

He paused with 9 1 dialed. He could hear pounding feet and watched as two younger boys ran out of the house. The little redhead was screaming in laughter as the taller one chased him down. The taller boy seemed to be fresh from a shower and barefoot. He was holding a blue towel wrapped around his waist as he chased the short redhead down the street.

The recent rain storm had swelled the little pond nearby to overflowing and Gerard watched as the tall blond man caught up to his screaming companion and threw him over his shoulder. The screaming boy went from screaming in laughter to begging for mercy as he was then marched to the pond and thrown in.

Frank popped out from the window next to him. "I heard screaming. Do we need the cops or can I throw someone on their ass myself?" he asked as he leaned out even farther. Gerard shrugged. His tiny housemate sighed and actually climbed through the window and onto the bench under it. He shook himself off and then shouted to the towel-clad young man. " HEY NEW NEIGHBOR. DO WE NEED TO CALL THE COPS?" The taller blond man jumped and almost dropped the towel. He looked away from where the fully clothed young man was doing laps around the pond and actually trotted over to them ignoring the fact that he was still in just a towel.

"Sorry about the show guys. My name's Drew. That screaming maniac climbing out of the pond is my boyfriend, Tommy." Drew smiled brightly at them and offered his hand to them. "Tommy likes to spice things up in the way of unexpected pranks," Drew explained. "We just moved in, well I did, the house was Tommy's uncle's before," Drew explained. He ended up sitting down on the porch with them chatting while Tommy swam. "Your boy's a real fish out there," Frank joked. Watching the smallish redhead swim and float on his back, Drew chuckled. "Yeah, he's from out in the country, used to swimming all day long. He misses the water and the cattle from home."

Mikey had yet to meet the neighbors, Drew and Tommy. He was always busy and the two stayed in their house most of the time. So when Frank and Gerard said that's who they had invited over for another play date, he was curious to meet the, as Frank described them, "wildly adorable" couple from across the street. Gerard had said not to come on too strong, the little redhead from across the street would be shy and probably a little scared when they got there, Gerard had gushed over how cute the redhead was, every time he made an effort to talk to him Tommy had blushed to his ears and had trouble making eye contact. He had the weirdest nervous habit too, Gerard said he sucked his thumb if you got him nervous enough. Overall he sounded like a treat.
