"Hylla."
"Reyna."
The tension surrounding the 2 queens made everyone around them uncomfortable. Leo and Hazel figeted while Jason and Piper glanced at everyone except the 2 sisters. Percy pretended like nothing was happening and Annabeth and Frank kept a close eye on them. Nico stood away, watching lazily. Hylla took a step closer to Reyna and everyone visibly tensed.
Hylla walked until she was directly in front of Reyna. They were around the same height but each stood upright and stared each other down.
Everyone(with the exception of Annabeth)was surprised when they hugged. "Is the party worth staying? Or do you want to leave and do something more worthwhile?" Hylla said once they separated.
They were currently at some kind of a leader association party. Everyone important was there to discuss the political moves between the camps and do business with the Amazons and Artemis' Hunt and other groups. At least that was the get up.
"It IS getting a little chummy in here." Hylla glanced around at Frank and Hazel holding hands, Piper and Jason standing close together, Percy with his arm around Annabeth's waist, Leo holding hands with Calypso, and Will standing next to Nico. The hunters already left, but not before trying to recuit Reyna since she was the only single female there.
"I though it was a political meeting not prom." Hylla said and she wrapped an arm around Reyna's shoulder.
Together they walked to the double doors and hallway to the exit, chuckling and talking about all the things they that could have done instead of being at the party.
(Everyone stared because it was basically the first time they've heard any of the 2 laugh. Together at that.)
