Reyna burst through the doors of the infirmary with her spear in one hand and Bull dozed her way to Nico's bedside.
"Hey! He can't have visitors! He's in critical condition!" Will nearly screamed her ear off but she was staying put no matter what.
"Shut up." Reyna said but noticed immediately that someone else had said it with her.
"Jinx" Nico mumbled.
Nico had been in critical condition ever since he took a sword to the chest during the battle to defeat Gaea. He had already been extremely weak from the shadow jumps but he managed to defend a couple of new demigods who had been overwhelmed by the number of monsters.
Reyna tackled him in a bear hug when she realized that he was awake. Nico groaned in pain and Will almost died from the amount of worry.
"Nico, Nico, Nico, Nico." She muttered out, unbelieving that he was alive. He had nearly died when she turned and found him laying on the ground about to be killed by a monster. She was told he almost didn't make it. It had been almost a week since then.
"Gods, Reyna I'm ok." "Don't give me that bullshit, you almost died." "Well, I'm fine now." "I though I told you not to give me your bullshit, you're obviously not fine."
Around this time Reyna let go of him. "Me not being fine would have been a good reason to not tackle me." "Shut up I almost lost you." She grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze. He squeezed back.
Nico raised his eyebrow. "Oh yeah, and your not in critical condition either." Reyna glanced at the multiple gashes, stitches and cuts littering her body.
"It's nothing. I made it here so it's not that bad." "Ok, that enough catching up for one day. Time for you to get back to your bed, Reyna." Will said impatiently. Reyna sighed. "Will, 5 more minutes." She said in her praetor voice.
But even that wouldn't stop Will from the well being of his patient, Reyna, and his boyfriend. (Her back wounds looked like they would open up he didn't get her back to her bed.)
"Nope, that tone won't work with me praetor. Get back to your bed. The stitches on your back will open if you keep moving." "Wait what?" Nico said surprised and worried. "All the more reason to stay put." Reyna argued.
"Reyna." Will said in a dangerous voice. "Will." Reyna said in an even more dangerous tone.
"Reyna, what's he talking about? What stitches?" Nico finally asked, interupting the glaring match between Reyna and Will.
In the end, Will finally got Reyna to leave but only on the condition that she be put next to Nico. Nico gave a good glare at Reyna for not telling him about the back wounds and how she could have been worrying about him when she was stabbed 3 times with arrow heads.(She neglected to mention that she almost died from a neck wound.)
