*At the LAPD, Detectives Brad and John walking down the hallway*
Brad: I wonder what assignment the chief has got for us today.
John: I hope it's something good. Let's hurry to the presentation room and find out.
Brad: Alright, lets go.
*Brad and John enter the room with all the other detectives and sat at there spot*
*Chief walks in the room*
Chief McDaniel: Alright everyone, time to get to business.
*Chief gave all other detectives there assignments and all detectives left except for John and Brad*
John: *Talking in his head* We're last for assignments, again. Its most likely a shity one.
Chief McDaniel : Okay boys, the reason I called you guys last is because I have a special case for you two.
Brad: What's the case, Chief?
*Chief puts a file on the table and slid it to them*
Chief McDaniel: The Missing Driver case.
Brad: *Curiously* "Missing Driver"?
John: Can you give us more details?
Chief McDaniel: Yesterday at 1400 hours, two policeman were in a car chase, they believed that the suspect was involved in a murder case. The suspect's name was David Stanley. After when the suspect crashed, they went to check the vehicle, but no one was in the drivers seat.
John: *Confused* wait...........what?
Brad: *Confused* What do you mean he wasn't there?
Chief McDaniel: That's what we're trying to figure out. We have no leads of where he is. We have some information about him in this file. We need someone on this. I believe that you two can handle this case. Can I count on you two?
Brad: Yes sir.
John: You can count on us.
Chief McDaniel: Great, your assignment starts now.
*Chief McDaniel hands them the case file and Brad and John and walk out of the presentation room*
John: How does one just disappear after a car crash?
Brad: beats me, lets go over the case file.
*Brad opens the case file*
Brad: Okay, so David Stanley lives in a apartment on Maple street, apartment number 3.
John: Well.......... What are we waiting for, lets get going.
Brad: Alright.
*Brad and John walk out to the car and get in*
Brad: Let's get this over with.
