I heard a loud thud come from down stairs where my mama was cleaning. Quickly, my younger self stumbled down the stairs to check on her.
"Comet, is that you?", Mama weakly stuttered out.
Overcome by worry, I rushed over to her only to see a horrid sight. Mama was laying in a pool of her own blood and her skin slowly peeling away.
Wide eyed I asked, "Mama, what happened?"
She gave out a painful laugh and said, "Don't trust anyone. You never know who is behind the mask." With that I learned the truth of this world. Zombies are real.

"Don't trust everything you see. Even salt looks like sugar."
