"Hey are you alright May? Come on it's not that bad..." Misty sat next to May, who had an upset face.

"You got paired with your boyfriend! [yes Misty and Ash are a couple] Why did this happen to me?? And anyway EW -she left away the d and the r- is my rival! How can I be paired with him?" May pouted and got up.

"Gonna go to my room now... I'll prepare everything for tomorrow. You should too Misty." May smiled still kind of upset and then walked away.

When she arrived at her room she packed her clothing and other objects and prepared some food, since she didn't know what was ahead of them.

Once she was done she got on her computer and checked checked her MSN; May then started a group chat with Misty, Ash, Max, Brock, Steven and Brendan, who were all online.

May!!! I miss you sooo much!! It's so boring here without you... I decided to come by! Aren't you happy? Lets meet in Coral city, don't you have your first challenge there?

May left the chat too see Steven just sent her a message.

Steel(Steven):

Hey May! Sorry I didn't say anything, I just wanted to talk to you alone!

Steel:

Well yeah... I'm here in Crimson city too!

What??? You're here?? Lets meet right now at lake Reflection!

Before Steven could reply May logged off and ran out to the lake; the sun was setting and the water was reflecting all the sky's colours.

As time passed Steven didn't arrive, so May sat against a tree and before she knew it she fell asleep.

"Hey May! I'm sorry I didn't come before, I tried to tell you I had to battle with this guy... May? Are you sleeping?" Steven arrived running and by the time he was next to May he was panting, so he sat next to her.

"Good to see you... I wanted to talk to you about a lot of things so I'll just wait till you wake up." Steven was smiling while looking at May.

"Seriously May, how much can you sleep?- Steven looked down just before continuing- since I'll eventually have to say this why not try now while you can't hear me?" Steven looked at May to check if she was still sleeping.

"I like you May...-Steven paused like if he was waiting for her to say something- Well that wasn't that difficult! What a relief... Even if it will be different when I'll really tell you... It's gotten late... Shame we didn't get to talk... I have to go battle another guy now... Bye May, hope to see you soon!" Steven looked back at her and smiled just before walking off.

[Later that night always at the lake]

May logged on MSN again to talk to Misty.

Well... I discovered Steven was here so decided to meet up with him at lake Reflection...

In that moment Drew arrived behind May, who didn't notice because she was too concentrated in talking to Misty.

Steven's here? I had no idea! Anyway keep going.

Uh... I arrived there and waited for him and since he wasn't arriving I fell asleep... But then he arrived!

In the moment she logged off May heard giggling from behind.

"Someone actually likes you! Who's this Steven guy anyway?" Drew smirked looking down at May, whom was blushing.

"D-Drew?? You were reading?? And anyway it's none of your business!!!" May was even more red than before and walked away upset.

'Geez that girl... I was just asking... Uh? What's this strange feeling? It's like I'm not happy after I've read that... Tsk Drew what the hell are you thinking?' Drew walked away too.
