Avalon Chance is your average 17 year old girl. Avalon, Ava for short, has mid-back length dark brown hair, electric blue eyes, thin light pink lips and light skin (Real Life Visual: Emily Rudd -model-). Ava is from a very wealthy family and her father, Jake Chance, owns the biggest enterprise in the entire world making him the richest man alive. Ava's mother, Daisy Chance, is a famous fashion designer. So, Ava is pretty much always "dressed to impress".
Avalon's P.O.V.
Today is my first day at my new school. We moved from Florida to California because my mother wanted to raise her fashion industry here in California. The high schools here are your typical cliché high schools. The different cliques:
1- Popular Girls
2- Jocks/Athletes
3- Nice Kids
4- Dorks/Nerds/Geeks (I hate that they are at the bottom, I personally think they're amazing people!).Pretty stereotypical. I like to consider myself in category three: the nice kids, but because of my "stunning" looks and sweet personality, not to mention my straight A's, I'm considered to be in the first category; popular girls. But trust me when I say that I'm not one of those snobby, rich popular girls.
As I entered the school, I got two types of stares from the student body:
1- Guys wanting me and...
2- Girls wanting to be me.
Plus the occasional envious glares I get from those snobby popular girls. I just ignore all the horny jocks cat-calling me as I walked to my locker. What I saw next will definitely scar my innocence.
A guy and a girl, MAKING OUT RIGHT NEXT TO MY LOCKER! Great, this day can't get any better. Note the sarcasm.
As I walked up to the PDA couple (PDA- Public Display of Affection), I politely asked with my sweetest smile, "Hey love-birds. Can you guys do me a favor and please not leave lingering STDs by my locker? Thanks.".
In response, the girl rolled her eyes at me and the guy plastered a cocky smirk on his face and told his bitchy girl-toy, "Why can't you be as hot as her?".
Now it was my turn to roll my eyes. It's only my first day, I don't want trouble already.
"Stay away from him." a girl that walked up to me said. "Why not?" I asked, growing curious. "That's Adam Lapay. Biggest popular jock and player in the entire school."
"Oh. Thanks for the tip. I'm Avalon Chance, but you can call me Ava." I said sweetly smiling at the helpful blonde, extending my hand out to her.
"No problem. I'm Desiree Valen. Call me Desi for short. I know we're going to be great friends." Desi said, taking my hand and shaking it firmly while returning my smile.
My first friend here!
AUTHOR'S NOTE
Hey guys! Thanks for reading my first story! Sorry if this seems cliché at first, this is my first ever public story. And if you ever do find grammar or pronunciation mistakes, I apologize in advance. I'm only 13. But anyways, thanks again for reading! I'll be continuing this story for a long time! My goal is at LEAST 40 chapters! More if I feel creative and have time. This was published May 16, 2017. We have summer break on June 2, 2017 so then I'll have a lot of free time to write stories so wait until then for constant updates! But for now, I'm working on a tight school schedule but I promise there will be pretty frequent updates. Enjoy!
