She climbed mountain after mountain,
Only to fall back down each of them.
And eventually she just stopped climbing,
Because it was much easier to not try than it was to try and fail over and over again.
It was much easier to stay where she was than it was to climb higher and higher, only to fall and land lower and lower than before.
It was much easier for her to spare herself the pain of falling again and again.
