I'm back!
(After 10 months)
Hi!
So, I'm finally started that sequel that I said I would consider, but in order to do that, I had to reread the first fanfiction.
I almost died.
I think I cringed every two lines, and I could count about 30 cliches and overdone plot devices. What was I even thinking?
So, for this story, there are going to be some fairly drastic changes.
1. I wrote in a love at first sight couple. Ugh. That's going to change. Percy and Era are going to back it up a little and have a realistic relationship.
2. Era is OP. She's a Mary Sue. I'm going to have to find a way to put a damper on her power, because while I was rereading the first fanfiction I kept kicking myself because of her.
3. I'm going to keep track of my characters. I probably created 10 whole new characters, and promptly forgot about them.
Those are the major changes, but hopefully you'll notice an improvement in just the writing in general. Hopefully.
Thanks for reading this, and thanks for sticking with me for ten months while I posted nothing.
The next chapter will probably be up some time tomorrow :)
(Also, note to people in the future who happen to stumble upon this when it's completed, just disregard the whole 'waiting ten months thing' :P)
