Patty Walters Fan Fic ~L

One Day (y/n) was walking through the park reading "The Fault In Our Stars," as she was walking she ran into a tall stranger. "Oh, oops sorry." (y/n) muttered with her gaze still on the book. "No worries, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." The tall stranger replied. His voice immediately grabbing her attention. She finally looked up from her book and saw his beautiful features. "Oh, um, hi sorry, I'm, um, I'm (y/n)." She smiled as she gazed into his gorgeous blue eyes that made her heart flutter. "Hi, (y/n) I'm Patty." He smiled. "Oh yeah, I know. I watch your videos," she smiled "You're amazingly talented by the way." She said as she blushed looking down and fiddling with her book. "Oh why thanks love," Patty said as he smiled. "You're gorgeous," Patty's eyes got bigger and his cheeks flushed a bright pink. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry I said that." He said as his blush got even brighter. "No, it's, um, thank you," (y/n) said looking back down at the ground. "You're very attractive yourself." (y/n) giggled as she looked up into his shimmering eyes. "Thank you (y/n), um, this might seem kind of crazy, but do you want to go get dinner with me tonight?" Patty said, smiling sweetly as he grabbed her book and scribbled something in it and winked to her. "I hope to see you again sometime." Patty smiled walking away. (y/n) smiled and looked in the cover of her book *Call me sometime xx Patty* and underneath it was his phone number. (y/n) smiled and turned a deep shade of pink. She started to walk again and went back to reading her book. She went and sat down on a park bench and pulled out her phone. She typed his number into her contacts and sent him a text.

"Hey Patty it's me again, so about that dinner invite... where would we go?" She smiled and sent the text. About 2 minutes later she got a reply.

"Nice to hear from you (y/n). How about tonight we meet at Nando's and have a proper conversation?" She blushed as she read his text and quickly replied. "That would be fantastic! I love Nando's! I can't wait to see you again... I hope I'm less awkward this time." She giggled as she sent the message and anxiously awaited a response. Her phone buzzed and she read his text. "You aren't awkward, I am. Well, I can't wait to see you. Should we meet at 8?" She happily replied, "8 would be perfect! See you soon Patty <3" As soon as she pressed send she regretted sending the heart. She felt so stupid for being that forward, she HAD just met him, but it felt like she had known him forever. When she had waited 5 minutes and not gotten a reply she had thought that she had scared him off. As soon as she was about to give up on him her phone buzzed. "Okay, I'll see you soon gorgeous <3" Her heart fluttered and she practically skipped home.

As (y/n) was getting ready she felt like she was in a Disney movie. Like Patty was her prince to come and rescue her from everything negative in her life, and when she was with Patty, she felt like that was true. (y/n) had used Patty's music as a method of dealing with all the bad things in her life. All the nights where she would stay up until 5am with the idea of running away and wanting to disappear. Patty would get her through it, and (y/n) knew that if it weren't for Patty's music, they would have never met in the park. (y/n) finished getting ready and looked in her full body mirror. She hadn't worn anything too classy because they were just going to Nando's, but she did make herself look amazing. She had chosen a black crop cut belly shirt that said the word "BOSS" across the front of it. She wore that over a red cami. She had also put on a pair of H&M shorts and her favorite pair of converse. She applied a little bit of blood red lipstick, curled her hair, and was out the door.

(y/n) got to the restaurant a little bit early and sat on the bench outside waiting for Patty. (y/n) was on her phone when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She looked up and saw Patty standing in front of her. She saw his hair as golden as the sun. His sparkling eyes that had made her be able to smile in her darkest days. His lips that she had wanted to kiss since she first saw one of his videos. Then she noticed his shirt, she recognized it from his "Teenagers" video. Then finally his black skinny jeans and black Toms. She snapped out of her daydream and realized that she had been gaping at him. "Oh my God I'm so sorry for staring." (y/n) said blushing a deep pink. "Oh, it's totally fine. I was staring too. You look absolutely stunning." Patty smiled. "So, do you wanna go inside?" He asked as he offered (y/n) his hand. "Of course," she said smiling and grabbing Patty's hand.
