Mud trekked through the snow covered forest, slowly, with the snow crunching beneath his paws. It had felt like a lifetime since he started walking. Will I ever find a cave? He asked himself. He heard prey scuttle away as he came near. He would chase it, but he needed to sleep- far away from the pack -first. I wonder if anybody will miss me? He wondered, thinking about his mother and sister. He didn't like his father. He wasn't there very much, and he believed Mud would murder that pup... After a bit more walking, he finally found a cave. It was becoming dark, and he raced over to it. There was a snarl from inside the darkness the darkness of the cave, making him jump. "Who's there?" A female growled lowly. "I-I'm Mud. I don't mean to cause trouble... I just-" He replied, but she cut him off. "You better not be. What do you want?" Mud blinked. She still wasn't visible in the darkness, nothing but her silhouette. "I was just looking for a place to stay? I won't be here long, a- And I'll hunt my own prey!" He told her. She stepped out of the darkness. It was a pure white female with pale eyes. Why are her eyes so pale? He asked himself. "Fine, but once your capable, you better leave." She snarled hostilely. Mud nodded and curled up in a corner. Now let's hope I actually wake.
