I'd rather regret the things that I've done than regret things I haven't done. - Lucille Ball

Chapter 3

"That was hilarious!" I tell Scarlett as I hand her the icepack from my lunch bag.

"Yeah but it hurt like a bitch. So worth it though." She says grinning.

"Damn Scar I didn't know you could fight like that." Mason says, showing her something on his phone, probably a video of the fight.

They watch the video for about a minute, and I see Mason go, "Oooh." And covers his mouth.

I start to clap along with everyone, being Mason, Ainsley, and Devin. Caleb went to go get his dads truck so we all could hand out in the back with pillows and blankets.

Scarlett then does a little curtsey as we walk to Masons car, heading to the movies.

While we're jamming out to the music, I notice that we aren't heading towards the movie theaters.

"Hey, aren't the movies that way?" I ask Mason, confused.

"Oh, we aren't going to those movies. We're going old fashioned." He says grinning at me.

"A drive-in?" Ainsley asks, getting excited. The last time we went to a drive-in was about 2 years ago over the summer, Ainsley and her boyfriend at the time had drove us, and Scar and I hid in the trunk. Fun times.

"You know it." Mason says happily.

"For real?" I ask, not believing them.

"Yes. We are going to watch Everything Everything." Mason says.

I internally scream and look at Scarlett and Ainsley, who are practically doing the same thing. We've been wanting to go see Everything Everything since the day the previews came out. It sucks that we are going to watch it with boys though, we are probably going to start crying like a kid who dropped their ice cream.

Once we get about two blocks away from the drive-in, Mason pulls over at a abandoned building.

"What're we doing? The drive-in is like right down the street." Scarlett says, confused.

"Ladies, out." Mason says emotionlessly.

"What?" I say quickly.

He grins at me and points out the door. I goan and hop out, with the girls following me. Mason pops open the trunk and Devin says, "In."

I look at him like he's crazy, then Scarlett hops in and says, "Come on Trin, it's not like we haven't hid in the trunk before."

I roll my eyes at her and slide into the trunk with her, Scarlett following.

After Devin closes the trunk, the car starts moving again for about a minute, and then we stop and I hear talking. It must be Mason buying him and Devin's tickets.

They then start driving again, and then stop and park. After a moment, Devin opens the trunk and we all get out.

"Agh I'm never doing that again! It's like 200 million degrees in there!" Scarlett says, fixing her hair.

"It's not that bad." Devin says, smirking at Scarlett.

Is notice her roll her eyes at him, which makes me giggle. We then all see Caleb drive up with a large pickup truck, that has lots of blankets and pillows in the back.
