Imagine Shawn can tell something is wrong while your talking on Snapchat.

You miss Shawn, you miss him every day, all the time. Every day when he isn't at school is a hard day. Shawn is your best friend, your only friend.

Often people make jokes how Shawn is only friends with you because he feels bad. Your family situation isn't great, and your grades have been dropping, and Shawn has been away for a few weeks.

Today was pretty rough, one of the worse. You had some girl throw your books onto the ground and then her boyfriend whine about how Shawn wasn't here to pick them up for you.

You slowly picked up the papers and broken binder from the ground while everyone around you laughed.

You got my paper handed back to you, you had gotten an F, and it was official, your parents were getting a divorce.

You guess You could blame everything on the fact that your family life wasn't great, and hasn't been for awhile.

You spent time at home instead of with friends, trying to hang on to your family, and your grades didn't seem near as important considering your family was falling apart.

Opened... no reply
---- 3 minutes later

Opened.... no reply

You placed your phone on your bed and stared at the ceiling, you hated how things were always so hard, but worst of all you depended on Shawn to fix them, because you, couldn't fix them yourself.

your phone began to ring and right away, you knew it was Shawn.

"Hello."

"Whats wrong?" Shawn asked

"I just, it's the same old shit. When are you coming back?"

"I am surprised you didn't notice, I was going to surprise you, but I think you need me now."

"What are you talking about Shawn?"

"I was lying in my bed until you snapped back with a black screen, changed into a sweater and started heading out my house."

"Wait, are you."

"In front of your window, yes."

You stood on your bed and pulled the blinds back, to see Shawn staring back at you."

"You got her pretty fast Mendes."

"Yeah, we share the same fence, can you let me in? It's cold."

You hung up the phone and threw it onto your bed, so you could open the window with both hands. You were in the basement, so your window was pretty close to the ceiling, but your bed was placed so you could stand on it in order to reach the window.

Shawn stepped through the window and sat down on your bed. You sat beside Shawn and placed your head on his shoulder.

"Sorry, you're going through all this."

"It's not your fault."

"But I wasn't here.'

"You're here now."
