As we hit the freeway I noticed the sign which was letting me know that we are heading to Victoria East. The first raindrops felt on the windshield and I got blinded by the headlights of the truck which was driving in the another line.
“Are we heading east? You want to go to Hungary?” I asked. “I know you were born over there.”
“How do you know?”
“I read it.”
“People are funny..they just believe whatever they read or whatever they see on television. Somebody said it so it must be true, right?”
“Where were you born than?”
“In Hungary."
We were quiet for the minute. "Where were you born?" He asked.
“In the small village..nothing special.” Talking about Senna was not something I liked. I hated this small village. I will never forget the day I moved out from there. It was the happiest day of my life.
We drove about two hours, when my eyes started to feel heavy...
“Leave me alone!” Marion run out of her house yelling. I was waiting for her outside. She did not say Hi to me, she just sat on her bike a drove away. I followed her to the park. She tossed the bike in the grass and sat next to it.
“I can not stand her!” She was talking about her mother. “She is always going through my stuff.. She doesn't respect my privacy.”
She plucked a daisy flower from the ground.
“Does he love me..does he not..” I was watching her plucking a petals one by one..
“..he does not..” She exhaled and than she layed back on the grass. I did the same. We were watching the clouds movning on the blue sky. There was one cloud I was watching..It was big and fluffy. It was changing the shape and color.. turning gray.. and it seemed like the snow was falling down from that cloud. The snowflakes were landing on my face.., but I realize it was not a snow what was falling down from the sky..it was an ashes.. I wanted to stand up, but I could not..When I turned my head to look at Marion ,she was gone..Where did she go?..I saw a silouhette of the man standing between trees...
“Marion?!” I yelled her name...”Marion!!”
I opened my eyes, breathing hard. I was alone in the car at the gas station. I could see Liam standing inside of the store, he looked my way. When we were back on freeway I was thinking about my dream. I never dreamed about Marion before. I mean..i taught about her sometimes, but not as much as I did this past week. It was close to midnight whenI felt asleep again, but this time I had no dream at all. We arrived in front the motel right befor the sun was up.
“I'm tired..I need to get sleep.” He said and went into the reception office, when he got back he gave me the key to my own room.
“Go rest.”
My room was on the second floor, while his was on the first floor. The room was small..one queen size bed with yellow colored sheets, table, small Tv, lamp..but it looked clean. I tried to sleep, but I could not so watched some stupid soap opera and news..I called Richard around eight am. He did not answered. He's voice mail, which he left me last night ,was just about how sick is he feeling and that he is planning to go to doctor on Monday. I also texted to Anja and took a shower.
The sky was gray..ready to rain again. Liam knocked on my door at one pm. We left the motel and stopped in the small restaurant for a luch. I mean, for my lunch, cause he did not order. I had tuna salad and coke.
“Are you on diet?” I joked enjoying my lunch. He had just a water..
“Do you like flowers?” He asked me, ignoring my question.
“Yes..I'm a girl, I like flowers, chocolate and diamonds.”
“What do you like about them?”
“They are pretty, they smell good...” Our waitress was checking Liam out. I'm sure she knew who he is.
“Why? Do you like flowers?”
“I like Lotus.” He said. It reminded me those white water lilies in our lake. They looked magical floading on the surface of the dark water.
“Excuse me,” our waitress could not wait any longer. We both looked at her. “Are you Liam March?”
I was watching him flirting with her, he put his signature on her hand...I was done with my salad, I finished my drink and she was still standing next to our table talking to him.
“Do you like to be famous?” I asked when we were sitting in the car on our way to - I don't know where.
“People coming to me with emotion..excitement, anger, shyness..I like to feel their emotions.”
I was watching the passing landscape through the window. The high green mountains looked like they are dressed in the dress made of clouds..He took an exit number 55..I knew that exit..
“What are you doing? Where are we going?"
He did not answered. The road became more narrow and we passed two big rocks on the side of the road.
“Do you hear me?” I hold his shoulder.
“Are you sure you don't know this area?” Of course I knew. I remembered those two big rock, the road which was lined with old trees. We took a sharp turn and there it was, right next to one of those big trees, a tall sign – Welcome to Senna...
