Chapter 11

Niall's P.O.V.
I felt so helpless. They wouldn't let me go with her. I had to get cleaned up before I went back on stage because of the blood. There was two songs left. We were all in shock at her yelling so loud. Maybe it's a good thing. Maybe she'll open up to us. The ride to the hospital was short for the most part.

As soon as we parked I ran my ass off to the front desk demanding to know where May is. As soon as the nurse told me to hold on a second I saw Lou walk though the double doors. I ran to her. "Where is she? How is she? Is the baby fine?" "Calm down! They gave her some medicine to help calm her nerves. She's asleep right now but I don't have any more answers for you yet. The doctor said he'd be with us shortly." I felt relieved that the doctor was coming shortly. "I think I'm going to get a cup of coffee. Hopefully the doctor will be here by the time I get back." "LETS GO TO THE GIFT SHOP FOR A GIANT TEDDY!!" Of course Louis would scream at a hospital.

May's P.O.V.
When I woke up there was a nurse and a doctor in the room. "I'm Dr. Foyer and I'll be checking you out today. This is nurse Jill. She'll be helping me. Is there anyone you'd like in the room while we do this examination?" He asked me. This is a lot to take in after waking up. "Lou please." He turned to the nurse, "please go get Lou." She gladly went out of the room to get her. The doctor prepped himself for whatever he's doing to me. I was still not out of my regular clothes. Lou walked in with the nurse and the doctor told her to make me put on a gown on.

They helped me get dressed in the gown. I looked nervously over at Lou and the nurse. "May, the doctor needs to do an ultrasound and an pelvic examination to see what's caused this mess. Don't be afraid. Lou and I will be here the whole time." I stared at her wide eyed while Lou looked down at her feet. I felt scared as the doctor walked in with all the tools he needed. "May, I need you to lay down and put your feet up. I'm going to do a pelvic exam. This might hurt a little bit. First Jill is going to clean you off down there. Then I'll start. Okay?" All I could do was nod and think about the baby. I'm letting him touch me because of my baby.

Lou held my hand when Jill propped my legs up and started cleaning me up. Once that was done Dr. Foyer started the exam. It hurt when he started the exam so I squeezed Lou's hand. I'm glad she was with me. It was starting to get very uncomfortable. Once they started the ultrasound and heard my baby's heart beat they smiled. They quickly finished up what they were doing to me and told me the news. "May the baby is fine. You're overly stressed and will be put on bed rest for twice a week for a month. Then you need to check up with your normal doctor. By the way, we took the cast off. It wasn't needed. You can be discharged in a few hours. Get some rest." Then they both left. Lou hugged me as I cried tears of joy. My baby is going to be okay.

"Love I'm going to get the lads. Get some rest. You need it. Soon you can go to the hotel and sleep." Lou left and I started to drift off into a peaceful slumber for the second time that day.

Niall's P.O.V.
I couldn't take the wait any longer. As soon as I got up to pace some more Lou came bursting through the doors with tears running down her face. I sprinted to her and grabbed her shoulders, "Tell me everything is okay?!" She nodded and hugged me. "Everything is fine but that poor girl. They had to do an exam on her lower region and she was so scared. I felt helpless because all I could do was hold her hand. She gets discharged in a few hours. They want her to rest." My heart jumped out of my chest. "Take me to her! I need to be with her. She's scared Lou." "Follow me."

She took me down the long corridor to May's private room. She was sound asleep with her hands on her small bump. In 7 and a half months she's going to be a mum. A great one at that with 5 boys to help her along the way. Louis somehow found her room and ran in with a teddy bear bigger than her! That's Louis for you.

"I'm Dr. Foyer, May's doctor. She can go in an hour. One of you needs to sign the papers for her release. She's on bed rest for 2 days a week except for the next week. She needs to stay in bed for the next week then go on bed rest twice a week. And boys, please try not to stress her out." Then he left. I walked over and sat next to May. "I'll be right back. I have to make a phone call." I walked into the hall and called Simon. Now or never. "Hello?" "Simon, May's pregnant. She's-" "Get rid of it. Now!" "What?! Simon it's not mine! Or any of ours! She was raped!" He fell silent. "Try not to let the press find out. I'm coming in 2 weeks to meet with you all." "Okay. Bye." The line clicked. I can't believe he was trying to get rid of the baby.

When I came back in the room May was awake and looked frightened. "I'll go see if she can leave now since she's awake." Louis walked out. "We got you this. Maybe little one would like it when s/he grows up?" Liam said as he handed her the big teddy bear. She looked at it wide eyed. "That things huge!"
