Selection in Los Angeles Cricket Team

Jennifer POV

'Jennifer calm down, calm down.... Down & down till world reaches it's last core' I whispered in myself because of what I heard a minute ago. Yeah & it happens sometimes when you have chances to prove your worth for reaching yours destiny.....and I thought that playing for any other team before getting into national colours would be better because I will get experience for playing Team India

After getting our practice sessions over we were just walking to home... And I was still got lost thinking about my cricket career and Afrah came up to me

"Hey Jenny! What happened?? Hey!!" Afrah said while shaking my hands

"Ha... What??..uhh, Afrah, what happened??" I said with interruption

"Where are you Jennifer??" She said

"I'm here only, nowhere gone... Why are you asking me like this??" I said her

"Well you don't know where are you now.. okay let it be... I tell you, you were in your dream land... Let me know what my sister is thinkin' about??" she said with intension of teasing me by my secret husband's​ name

"Ohh no Afrah! Not again... I'm not thinking about him... I was thinking about my future in Cricket for Team India" I said and immediately Ravi came towards me... I saw him wet due to sweating and he​ was breathing hard. It seemed to be like he ran up to me for emergency purposes

"Jennifer.... Come again in academy.. I was just searching for you frantically" Ravi said with deep heavy breathing

"Ohh I too searched for you all.. well why again in academy now??? It's 5.15 pm" I said

"Come with me Jennifer..." Ravi said and he held my hand in his hand tightly and I don't know why it catched my breathing and I skipped my heart beats

"You know what?? I was too walking to home but all teammates called up again in academy for some purpose" Ravi said while straight looking into my eyes

"What will be that purpose?? You know??" I questioned him

"How could I too know about it??" Ravi said

"Let's see there itself" I said

We reached to academy again and I saw all teammates were eagerly waiting for coaches & officers from Los Angeles Cricket Board

"Something will gonna big suprise happen" Alex said

"Hmm let's see" Ravi said

"So all are here??" Head coach said

"Yeah sir we're all here" all of us said him

"Let me tell you one thing.. that anyone gets selected or not dedication is must" Head coach said

Until one officer came up to our head coach

"Well in our playing XI four players are injured badly so we need replacing players from you all... I know you all are very young and had played at least under 19 or under 13 & 17 tournament for respective teams​.. that's why i came up to you all" he said

"Well we have seen all of yours teammates' talents and skills... So I'm​ really in dilemma for whom to choose" that officer said to our head coach

So Head Coach introduced ourselves to him a even though he had an Outlook of our performance of World Cup U-17 tournament played everyone for respective teams​ and officer called out my name

"Who's Jennifer Fernandes?? I have seen her playing in under 17 world cup tournament for team India" he asked

"Yes, that's exactly me" I said him pointing my hands towards me
