Truth Behind Denials

They were starting to grow tired of this. It has only been 3 months and they haven't shown any signs of stopping. They really wanted all of this to end. But things have gotten more and more of a pain in the ass for these two.

Eversince they entered the 16 year old stage, people, mainly students in the batch, had gotten more and more forcing.  They would always, I mean ALWAYS try to find any 'cute' interaction and will tease them forever.

Only god knows whats going through their heads, I mean, they were merely friendly with each other, why won't the teasing stop? Like shit man.

It annoyed them whenever;

"Omg Brannia is happening again! I so ship them!"

"How can they be so cute?"

"They're so goals"

Coo after coo, squels after squels. They just don't get why people acted like that.

Yes, they ended up becoming the class's favourite ship. Everytime they were together, people would coo and call them cute. Heck some people would even pat their backs with a 'long last'.

The teacher had yet to step foot inside the classroom so it was chaotic.

Laughters, conversation, screams and squels mixed in the classroom as the sound made its way to other classes. They would get scolded by the teachers who would pass from time to time for being too loud and disrupting classes.

Students in the class just acted like they were listening though. Cause they pretended to be studying.

It got worse when the class monitor stepped in and announced that the teacher was absent. That they were free to do anything they wanted at that time.

Some held dejected looks but most of them squeled in joy. Mainly because these things don't happend often and students look forward to it.

Absence of teacher literally means temporary freedom for a period or two. They took the opportunity to complete unfinished assignments or to do anything they pleased.

In the midst of chaos, Brendan and Tanya were seated next to each other, so immeresed in whatever conversation that they were having.

So immeresed, that they hadn't notice Amber watching and grinning at the scene unfolded in front of her.

How grateful was she to have finished her homework earlier rather than doing it now. She would've missed the class's ship in action. If anyone should be happy about Brannia's interaction, it would be her. She was basically the one who even named Brannia.

The smile never left on her face as she observed the behavior of her two friends. Call her a creep, but honestly, it makes her satisfied. You ain't one to judge.

She found the couple to be so cute and she had been fangirling inside most of the time.

Amber nudged her friend Jessie Lynn, in attempt to share the sight of Brannia in action and being as real as always.

Understanding Amber's motive, she averted her gaze to the direction where Brannia was seated.

A smirk made its way to her face with Amber following suit.

"Isn't it ironic how they don't want to be shipped yet here they are, acting like a couple" Amber chuckled.

"I know right. They always tried to prove that they weren't a couple yet here they are, acting like one" Jessie shook her head.

"If they had truly meant it. They wouldn't be acting like this" Amber smirked

"True dat"

"Not that we don't agree to it"

"You couldn't be more right"

They didn't want to ruin the cute moment between Brannia, so they had been keeping their voices as low as possible, but loud enough for the other to hear.

The smile on their faces had gotten more wider as they saw that Tanya had hit Brendan's arm playfully when he mentioned something that the two hadn't quite caught. Well than they heard this;

"It's true! You are cute though" Brendan grinned.

Well, Brendan was the innocent flirt type. He loves complimenting people that sometimes it seemed more than a compliment. He could say the sweetest things honestly.

"I'm handsome. I ain't cute. Brendan you know that!" Tanya whined. She wasn't your typical tomboyish girl. She may act like a guy sometimes but she has her cute sides. She hates it when someone calls her beautiful, pretty or cute.

For those who were always around the couple, they would sure to notice the relationship between them. Honestly,anyone could've mistaken them for a real couple.

"Oh fuck. Brendan is too smooth" Amber laughed almost wanting to fall from the chair she was sitting on with Jessie next to her closing her eyes, and a hand through her chest. She was trying to process this like legit. Her heart couldn't handle cute things like this, seriously!

Although Brannia themselves opposed it, it never stopped the students in the class from teasing them.

Whenever this topic was brought out, Tanya would scowl and roll her eyes whilst Brendan heaved long sighs and sometimes face palmed. They were just best friends, how did they end up winning the title as the class's favourite ship?

It always amazed them, but more to a wonder in thought if you may.

I suck I know. It aint even long but bare with me. The upcoming chapter would be even longer.

The ironic thing was, although Brannia themselves hated this ship name, they were actually the first ones to read this chapter.

Odd enough, they laughed and enjoyed it.

Chapter 1 was supposed to be a longer one, but I decided to split it.
