FRANCE

[Sebastian's POV]

The soldier that challenged me to a battle, stood up and complimented me. "You are really something, Sebastian, by the way my name is Lafayette. I am was one of the top soliders here." He said. I was a bit intimidated but I still kept my composure.

Our small conversation got interrupted by a familiar voice, "Listen up, today we are going to have tests. The tests show the best soliders, and those who need more training. I expect everyone on their best behavior." My strict father said. 'Ohh so there is a really a top. If I get into the top maybe, my father will be proud of me.' I thought.

After what he said, we all started to train. You could really hear the struggle of other soliders. Next was the tests, full of mud, obstacles, and there was a shooting course at the end.

A loud gunshot was heard signaling us to go through the course.

It was really a challenge, we all had to crawl on mud with barb wire on top. Then we had to hop on tires. We climbed a wooden wall with just ropes, then drop down to the ground. After most off the physical obstacles were done, we had to get a gun and shoot targets. I was the only one there, so it made me think if I was the last person to come there. I hit almost everything, square in the middle.

Once I finished every course. I ran on an open field, my body covered with dirt, sweat, and other fluids. Eyeing on the finishing line. I get there and pant heavily. Looking around, but to see no one there. I see my father approaching me with his second in command . "Sir, May I please ask where the other soliders?" I asked him, while doing a salute. "You are actually the first one." his second in command answered me. ' What?! Really!?' I asked in my head not wanting to break my good self-control and not wanting to freak out in front of my father.

The moment pass by, with another solider passing the finish line, it was Lafayette. "Damn, you're actually fast." He says, while gasping for air. I don't know if it was a compliment or an insult but I mouthed a small thank you.

In a while all the soliders finally arrived, and after all the test were done it was time to announce the top soliders. Me being the first and Lafayette being the second, the guy named John Laurens being the third, the guy wearing a bandana on his head, Hercules Mulligan, being fourth and my cousin, Claude Faustus, being Fifth. Some were shocked to think I was the general's son, some weren't, well the resemblance was quite obvious. To be honest I just wanted to be treated fairly.

When the announcements were all done, my fath- the general came near me and said a phrase, something I would never imagine, he would say, something out of his vocabulary and he directed that phrase at me.

England

[Ciel's POV]

They all look at me in amazement because they never thought someone like me could get an aim like that. Well jokes on them.

In a while, I became close with some soliders, their names were Alois Trancy and umm... Finnian or Finny. We look about the youngest people here.

"So have you heard that there will be a test later?" Finnian said. "Ya, I some say it's difficult." Alois stated. I just stood there not saying a word. We chatted for a while, until the general or in other words my father. He looked at us, and we saluted to him.

"Ciel, may I have a word with you?"  My father said sternly. I just gave a quick nod and followed him. He led me to his office tent, where he usually stays. "Ciel..." He started, "You don't have to join the war, okay. You don't have to. Your the only one left in this family I don't want to loose you too." He continued, and his whole strict game was lost.

"Father, It is my duty to serve this country, it is my will too. I will work hard and promise you that I won't die." I replied in a tone full of determination. "Ya, but we don't know what happens in the battlefield. For all I know you might die despite all those training." He said in a very worried tone. "Father, please have faith in me.", "But-"  "Father, I can do this. Okay." I semi-yelled before leaving

'Ohh my overprotective father what am I going to do with you?'  I thought while leaving his tent. I went straight to Finnian and Alois. "Hey, what did the general say to you?" Finnian said curiously. 'Ohh ya. They don't know we're related yet.' I thought. "Oh, it's nothing." I said. We chatted for a while. Until we heard a whistle. 'Wait, why is there a whistle?' I questioned.

All of the soliders gathered to where the whistle was blown. Alois, Finny and I walk to where it was, "Maybe it the start of the tests." Alois said. Once we were all settled my father comes in with Diedrich, his second in command. "We are going to start are strategy test, see how good you are. Then we are going to have the physical test, then last but not the least the shooting test." My father said in a strict tone.

I hear sighs and groans of disapproval, but they have no right to complain.

Th strategy test was a bit easy it, all that's there is questions and how you going to solve it and work your way out of it.

The physical test was not that great for me, saying I had asthma when I was younger. It was very tiring, all this obstacles and shit like that.

Then last but not the least the shooting test, Ohh how that was my favorite. I had guns laid in front of me, they varied in different strength and size. First I tried a semi-auto pistol, then an Ak-47, then the favorite of my maid or my father's personal gun man, M110, it was the heaviest but still my favorite. With all the guns I tried all of them was square in the middle.

I finished quite earlier than the rest because most of them having a hard time with the strategy test.

After all the soliders finally finished. The test were analyzed. When all the test were analyzed the announced it. "We are going to say it by the test scores. Let's begin. The one best in physical or hand in hand combat is Finnian. The one best in strategy is actually two, William T. Spears and Ciel Phantomhive. The one best in shooting is also Ciel Phantomhive." After it was announced I heard murmurs and whispers all around. 'Are they questioning my name, that is my name after all?! So what it I am related to the general!? Didn't they see the resemblance, literally we have blue-ish hair, his having more of a green-ish tint to it and mine having more of a gray-ish one.' I ranted in my head.

Well that's just see what my father might think.

✈✈✈

Woah, I am back. Sorry for mistakes and not updating for a long time. Ohh and just saying most of the Hamilsquad would be with France then most of the Black Butler characters would be in England, but it might mix, like Claude and some other people, and don't worry I am making Claude nice here. BTW, I know nothing about guns so the one there was just speculation. Hopefully you guys liked it.
