I'm so sorry I didn't update earlier, I'll try to update this more often. It'll probably be shorter than you expected, but...

-Calypso-
His face was streaked with grime and dirt.
"May I tell you my son's fate?"
"Leo?" she asked, suddenly interested in her hands.
"Yes, yes Leo."
"Oh." A sudden bitterness bit her. "Do you want some food? Tea?"
He shrugged, and it never hit her that the god was awkward.
"Okay, I shall take that as a no," she said, trying to hide her eagerness, and led him to a glass table. They both settled down in chairs opposite of each other.
"Okay. I shall begin..."

-Leo-

Fury is an interesting word. Fury is like rage, but it's when you enter a flurry of anger, and you can't stop yourself from breaking things, shouting and releasing your anger.
The oh-so-amazing hero that always outshone him was chickening out? Totally not fair. After Percy made his dramatic exit, Leo shoved everyone outside. He felt like crying out of frustration. Not so manly. He felt furious. "I'll do it by myself, then," he muttered to himself, glaring at an empty space. He placed a hand on his heart, and listened it beat.
Buh dum. Buh dum.
He took a deep breath.
One. Two. Three.
Good.
Leo stretched, and slowly began loosing himself in his work.
I'll be done soon, he swore to himself.

-Calypso-

She placed a hand on her mouth, her eyes wide.
"I'm sorry," he said simply and softly. "I will go now."
He stood, moving the glass chair back. It moved with a terrible sound that made her ears hurt.
"How?" She whispered, feeling tears almost overwhelm her.
"It's a warning," he said. Gold began to surround him. He was leaving.
"How could you be so cruel?" She shouted, finding her voice. "He's your own son, for goodness sake-"
Before Calypso could finish her rant, the god was gone.

-Leo-

"I'm leaving, Chiron," Leo explained calmly.
"Why?" Chiron asked sharply.
"Gotta go...gotta go find someone."
He sighed, leaning back into his wheelchair. "Goodness, I was going to send you to go and recruit some more demigods...please, explain this to me."
"...I made a promise," he said simply. "I can't break that promise."
"Promises are broken all the time," Chiron said gently.
"But this is different! I swear it is, she's suffering, and I know she is. I need to go. As soon as I'm ready."
"Who is this person?"
He hesitated. "I don't think you need to know that."
"Please, I do need to know this. This is very vital information."
He swallowed. "What if I said it was a goddess?"
"A goddess?" He leaned forward, eyes narrowed.
"Yeah. A goddess. I'll go alone." Since I can't trust anyone else, he thought to himself.
"It'll be a perilous journey," he warned.
He shrugged. "So what? It's a promise. I need to try."

"So...in the end, Chiron didn't let me go," Leo said to himself. Bunker 9 was silent. It was the kind of silent when your ears have this sort of high pitched sound that won't go away. He reached up, trying to grasp something. He let his arm fall back down to his side with a frustrated sigh.
There was nothing to grasp.
Nothing to look for.
There was only...
Emptiness.
