It was in room 1243 when something happened that changed my life. I was sitting in the chair at my desk in Mr. Smith's room reading as he walked around his medium-sized room. I slowly start to fall asleep on my desk. When I feel like I was falling down a black void where I can't see where I'm going so I panic waving my hands in the air. I suddenly hit the ground hard I feel around me and it feels like grass but I feel something wet on it. I blink rapidly trying to get my vision back as I slowly sit up from the ground looking around at the view before me. There people walking around but I noticed that they were missing pieces of their bodies. That click in my mind I'm not in my classroom anymore nor in McDowell, it seems like I was in a different world. Walking slowly, I back up in the trees trying to seek cover from the weird people that seem to look for food more like something breathing and has flesh.
Trying to find someone that will tell me what's going on but I see nothing that isn't one of those things. As I walk through the woods I start to think about my life but is quickly interrupted by someone's scream. I run as quickly as I can searching to find where the scream came from I hear it again sounds closer and like a man. I notice the sun was almost out of the sky the dark was setting in like a fog on a lake. Still running towards, the direction that the scream was from I start to hear whistling around the trees and hear the shouting of people. The big lights and trucks were what made me stop running I walk around the trees trying to get a glance at the people kneeling in front of an RV.
I slowly crouched down to have a good look at what I was up against. A man in a leather jacket with a dirty red scarf tucked in the jacket and he walked around the people carrying a baseball bat covered bob wire on his shoulder. I noticed how many men were around the premises and walk with caution backward. As I was easing back, I seemed to bump into something. I slowly put a hand behind and try to feel what I hit hoping it was a tree. What I felt was definitely not a tree because I know for fact trees are not soft and warm.
