We were sitting in a warehouse tied up all together scared out or minds. I overheard the men talking earlier tonight about my mom I still couldn’t believe what they was saying my mother can’t be out of prison and just when our family was coming together. I looked over to see a man coming towards us so I tried to play sleep. I really wish this shit was over soon and I mean real soon.

Jayden P.O.V

Me: Aug we have to find a phone to call these people about my sisters and my mom

Aug: what are you going to do if your mom tries to come back in y’all life

Me: baby ill talk to you about that later first things first I call the people.

So we hopped into the car and started driving until we found a pay phone. I was super scared but I had August there to keep me calm. I just wanted my sisters back home with me so we could get the hell out of New Orleans.

Me: hello

Kidnappers: yeah who is this and what the fuck you want

Me: its Jayden im calling about my sisters

Kidnappers: you need to have your mother and $40,000 in 3 days (click)

I looked at the phone like how the fuck am I gone find that much money in three days and more important how am I gone find my mother in that short amount of time. I have to find my sister so August and I drove to Atlanta to my cousin house. I took us all damn night to get there but I was happy we made it.

Once we made it to Atlanta we went to my auntie Meka house to see if Alexia was there. I loved my auntie so much she knew all the right things to say when shit was going bad.

Me: hey auntie have you heard anything yet

Auntie Meka: no baby I haven’t I know your mom is my sister and all but she dead ass wrong for getting you girls into some shit like this

Me: Tt im scared like fuck I don’t know what I will do to my mother if I find her and they hurt the girls

Auntie Meka: Well baby all I can say is pray about it and move forward do everything you can to make  sure they come back to us but who is this fine ass man you brought with you.

Me: well auntie this August

As I introduced August to my auntie I got a phone call from a girl but I didn’t know who it was. I answered the phone but no one said anything. Then the number called back and I answered.

Me: hello

Girl: Omg Jayden it’s me

Me: me who

Girl: it’s me Jaylah

I dropped the phone on the table I couldn’t believe what I was hearing this girl saying she was my twin.

It was too damn much going on so I out the house to get some fresh air. After all these years I thought my sister was missing and dead I just got a call from her. All I thought to my self was man this shit cant be true. August tried to come outside to talk to me about it but I didn’t know how to explain it to  him We walked inside the house and we all sat down on the couch and I tried to tell them what was going on.

Me: ok so I just got a call from Jaylah so the person on the phone said

Aug: who in the hell is Jaylah

Auntie Meka: oh, Dios mío eres tú grave (oh my gosh are you serious)

Me: auntie English

August: can somebody please tell me who the fuck is Jaylah

Me: she’s my twin sister. My mother had said that she went missing back when we were about 7 years old. We never found here cause we thought she was dead. I never really believed that ive always thought my mom had some to do with it.

Auntie Meka: No puedo creer esta mierda. Señor nos ayude! (I can't believe this bullshit. Lord help us!)

Alexia: Mama English please

Me: hey lexi this is August

Alexia was my favorite cousin we use to be together all the time before all the drama started to happen. She was always her for me no matter what she is going to be helping August and I find my sisters and yes im going to trade my mom for them.  I really don’t know what Ima do without this girl.

It was around 9 in the morning and I was on the phone with the prison my mother was and they confirmed that she did break out of jail earlier in the week but they didn’t know where she could be. I knew that since my side of family was in Atlanta she was going to be out here hiding so I got up and got dressed while everyone was sleep and started looking for her.
