hide and seek

Shawn and I's daughter anna was waiting for shawn to get home from work because he promised us to play hide and seek with us and anna was so excited, I've never seen her so excited it was adorable.

Me and anna were in the kitchen making dinner together.

We heard the door open and close

"DADDYYYYY" She shouted while jumping off her stool and running and hugged shawn's legs.

"Hey princess" he said bending down to kiss her forehead.

"Did you have fun at work daddy" our little girl said.

"Yes of course I did but I would have preferred to stay at home with my princess and my queen" he said walking over to me and kissing me on the lips.

"Ewwww no that's naughty, your not allowed to do that" anna said.

"Oh no, we're so sorry anna we forgot it's very naughty to do that, we didn't mean it" I said laughing at shawn who was explaining that it's bad to kiss. 

"It's okay, I forgot it happened" anna said laughing and covering her eyes as if she was trying to say that she forgot about it. Me and Shawn both laughed at our adorable daughter.

"Okay so shall we play that game I promise you both earlier" Shawn said looking at us both, we both nodded.

"Okay mummy counts and me and anna hide" Shawn said smiling. They ran off to hide and I covered my eyes.

"Okay 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10... ready or not here I come" I said walking up the stairs.

I heard little faint giggles from anna's room.  I walked in and saw a bump under her duvet but I didn't bother lifting it up because then it made her feel like she has won.

I opened her cupboards and looked under the bed and then finally I looked under the duvet.

"I found you" I said to her. She giggled.

"Come on let's go find daddy" I said to her grabbing her hand.

We went into mine and Shawn's shared room and looked in the cuboard and the bed not in their abd our bathroom not in there.

"How have we not found him, he's like the tallest person I know, he shouldn't have a good chance at hiding" I said to anna.

we went to the main bathroom in the house and he was there standing in the shower and he laughed. 

"we found you daddy" Anna said to Shawn. 

"you did indeed princess" he said to her. 

"my turn to count" anna said to us. 

Me and Shawn ran across the house to our bedroom.

He pulled my hand and pulled me into the closet.

I giggled.

"Shhh baby she'll here us" he said putting his hand over my mouth.

"Ready or not here I come" we heard her shout throughout the house.

We heard her stomp up the stairs.

"Shawn I think she's coming" I sad to him smiling.

"Lily you need to be quiet" he said to me and then leant down and kissed me.

"Not under the bed"

"Not under the covers"

The door to the closet opened but we did bother to pull away from the kiss.

"Ewww daddy and mummy are kissing" she said and Covered her eyes and laughed.

We pulled away and laughed at her reaction.

"You found us babygirl" Shawn said to her.

We came put of the closet and just spent the rest of the evening playing around.
