Oh hey, im Arabella Jackson. People call me Ara tho. Well let me tell you why im talking, Im the daughter of Percy and Annabeth explaining that im the granddaughter of Poseidon and Athena. I am very powerful and that stuff but hey i wont tell you all of it. Im officially sixteen now and have the best life so far! Well not all the time but heres most of my adventures as a 12 year old- 13 year old! ta daaaaaa

Ara's pov

Uggh why does my dog Ocean have to lick my face?  I was dreaming hello! I sat up viewing my self n the mirror infront of me. I got up and combed my Black hair down and stared at my own gray eyes. Mom said i looked like my father but i disagreed. I put on my sea blue shirt that says "Sea gal" and put on a pair of skinnies. I was turning 12 today a great age but heck no. I shove on my blue socks and take my headgear off. My ocean blue converse waited out the door and i tried my best to get my foot into it. I smelled my Dad cooking. Wait. My DAD cooking? I slid down the railing and on to the ground. Dad was cooking blue oatmeal, a recipe from Grandma Sally. Mom was pretty as usual even when she carried Peter with a belly bump she had since the past 6 months. "Mom why is dad cooking?" My ADHD is kicking up again. My mom looked at dad suspisciously. "Im sick babe soo Daddy is cooking okay..." I yawn and try to read the sign on the fridge. I never know why i didnt read right or cant control my actions and many people just call me a freak...  It was a note  i did for something.. "I tondersund faruy ni rvou dowrs btu tno ryou dowrs?" I tried and my mother told me, "I understand the fury in your words but not your words." She translated. "Ara its okay sweet heart Mom didnt mean to make fun-" I let my tears flow down my cheeks and sit on the kitchen floor all sad. "Ara dear Daddy and I care about your dyslexia or ADHD." I look up and wipe a tear away, "Why do you didnt care before? I cant even read  just because- because the words fly off the page!" I cried some more and my mom bend down as Peter fell asleep on her shoulder. "Babe so what? Stay home with me okay." I nodd and my mom hugged me. My mommy was just the best even tho i dont call her mommy much. "Well get in the table now i need to be at the school in a few minutes." Yup my Dad is the greek mythology kind of guy. Surprising hes a teacher huh? "Okay now Ara eat quickly and brush your teeth, moma still has to do a few things." I nod and eat my oatmeal quick. I slurped down my OJ and head upstairs. I looked into the mirror and smiled revealing my light blue braces. I brushed my teeth the usual and put my green headband on. Mom  yelled from the stairs, "Ara Grandma Sally is here!" I open my eyes wide and go down stairs. I noticed Dad already left and Peter was sitting on the couch watching the demigod diaries. It was a cool show but i dont see why a 3 year-old will watch. He could sit on a couch with pillows on his sides and dance like crazy. "Oh hi Grandma!" I hugged her as she smelled like the sea. "So Ara, Annabeth and I will be outside in the pool okay." I nod and join Peter on the couch. "Hey Peter!" He looked at me and said, "Hey sissy!" He gave me a strong hug. "Okay then now i have to do some stuff okay buddy." He nodded and I get up looking upstairs for a bathing suit. I found my one piece blue and sea green so i get dressed and go downstairs. I jump in and swim around. My mother was in a two piece showing her cute bump. Grandma Sally was in her two piece looking young as the usual. "Ara be careful dont stick your hand in the air!" Mom yelled getting up to dress Peter. "Okay mom!" I scream louder and continue holding my breath. All i did was stay for 12 minutes beating my dad's limit. I bounced back into the air and Peter waved at me. I waved back but then my Mom and Grandma panicked. "Umm Arabella Jackson put your hand down!" Grandma yelled calling Dad. I was stuck. My arm was stuck in the air. Water formed around it. Mom held Peter close as he yelled my name and his green eyes sadden.  Dad came just in time staring at me getting sucked into the water. ''No! dad seriously make the ocean titan stop!" He prayed. The water disformed and my Dad hugged me. "D-Dad im s-scared..."  i cried on his shoulder. "Shhh Ara its okay we need to tell you about it.." When i was inside, My mom hugged me to warmth. Grandma was carrying Peter and Dad sighed. "Your a half-blood Ara.." He said so strongly he was about to give up. "Your mom and I are half-bloods and we are the children of greek gods." My mom cut in and said, "Im athena, he's Poseidon. You were claimed by Poseidon when you were a baby." Dad nodded and Grandma added in. "Your brother is asleep not knowing what we are talking about. After Poseidon claimed you, your love for the water reached." Dad then sighed. "You are waay to strong Ara and have to control powers." Mom grabbed my hand and clentched it. "We will send you to half-blood hill on your 14th birthday." I look around and close my eyes. "I dont understand mom! You kept this from me all these years?!" I cried, "And never told me?" I storm upstairs and fall onto the trundle bed. "Why?" I buried my head in my floral pattern pillows. A smell of the ocean filled my room. A pond in the corner. Dad had told me about it. It had a message and i answered, "Ara you have to believe Percy and Annabeth..." I didnt understand the voice until the lady in the pond showed her face. "Who are you?" I ask so dumbfounded i couldnt remember the greek goddess's name. "Im Aphrodite you daddy's old goddess friend. Believe your parents sweetheart and you have to trust a goddess!" She said sooo sweetly I then here Dad open the door. I scramble back up and see Aphrodite vanish. Dad then sat by me on the floor. "Hey i saw you met Aphrodite." I then sigh. "What ever Dad annnnd when are you mad?" I asked getting up. "No and its okay Ara. I asked one of the smartest and talented girl to tutor you." He smiled and showed me a picture on his phone. "Thats me and Nico with Maiya and Aunty Elsly." He laughed staring at the second picture, "Nico summoned a ghost by accident! Hahaha.." I giggled and stared at the saltwater pond. "Dad sooo Aunt Elsly is coming too?'' He then got serious. "No, but your lucky that since shes the daughtry of vengence she isnt in the squad for kronos." He got and up and sighed. "Me and mommy have to go over to Maiya's clinic okay. Checking on baby and Nico and Elsly will watch you two. Dad ruffled my black hair and left.  I sat there in the dark alone. My eyes puffy and black hair a mess. I stood up and looked at myself. My mess Black hair and Gray eyes. I opened my drawer and ruffled through everything. I tossed on my light blue blouse and my black shorts. I headed down the hallway into the bathroom. I took off my owl earrings and shoved them away. I put on my necklace i hid away when Mom said she was pregnant with a girl. My long black hair i had was soon cut short and i messed it up. I looked diffrent. Now im not the sweet inncocent girl. Aunt Thalia  gave me all this gothic stuff for a birthday. I always wanted to be like her. Peter busted in and screamed. Elsly came in and she was wearing a maternity dress. "Oh angel what?'' I then stopped. "Aunty im done being a angel! Stop callinng me that!'' I splashed water at her face. Nico came up and stopped it from hitting her. "Oh i like her this way!" Elsly punched his gut and I ran out to the pool. I ran my fingers in the water and laced my combats on the way. I screamed and stood up. I headed outside and fell over my dog. "Hades! Ocean are you okay?" Her face was bleeding so i healed her with water. "Okay girl its okay.." Then i saw my phone ringing. "I dont need you..'' I shattered it and ran around the block. I didnt know what i was doing but heading to the world of half-bloods.
