"Ring ring"
"Hello?" I asked.
"Is this...Infinity Skye?" The older woman on the other line said.
"Yes..." I said hesitantly.
"I'm sorry to inform you that you mother was hit by a drunk driver and died on impact."
Those words made my heart stop and my body freeze, my eyes were no longer dry. Since that day, I was depressed and never went out. My father worried for me, and so did my friends, but I always said "I'll be fine". But the truth, the cold, hard truth, is that I won't. I'll never be. In my mind I call for help, but I never get it. I've tried to go one way, but end up going the other way. I've fallen so far, and no one will ever be able to help me. Or will they?
