The Story.

"Do you remember the time you first laid eyes on me baby?" Said Ash as we cuddled up to each other. "Yeah, I do .. I'm just so happy we ended up together like this." I said as I looked up at the man I love.~

My name is Hikaru and this is the story of how I met my wonderful boyfriend, Ash.

It all started back in junior high. I got caught staring at the most stunning guy in my class, which was Ash of course. He had the typical flippy black emo hair that I found so attractive plus his beautiful hazel eyes .. how could I not stare at him? The funniest thing though, was that he actually stared back at me and I swore he was checking me out. After a couple of second I could feel my face turning slightly red, so I quickly gazed at my school work, pretending it was the most interesting thing ever.

The lunch bell rang so I made my way to my regular spot under a giant tree where I spend most of my time when I'm not in class. I was a shy and sort of antisocial kid so I got quite the surprise when Ash made his way towards me. He approached me and said "Hey.. I saw you looking at me in class earlier." I stared at him awkwardly for a few moments then I realised I was blushing, so I covered my face with the sleeves of my hoodie and mumbled "U-uh.. yeah. Sorry about that.." I could hear him chuckling so I moved one of my sleeves away from my face and looked at him. He looked at me with a sweet smile on his perfect face and said "It's fine hun. I'm actually kinda glad you checked me out. I was wondering.. do you want to walk back to class together when lunch ends?" This caught me by surprise, but I was happy none the less. "O-of course, I'd love to." I replied back to him. Then bell rang signalling the end of lunch, so we walked back to class together, talking and laughing all the way back.

Over the rest of the school term Ash and I became very close friends. We basically did everything together. Before I realised, I was beginning to get feelings for him and I had no idea what to do, since I've never been so attracted to a guy before. I wasn't even sure he felt anything towards me but friendship, so I was reluctant to tell him about it. With every passing day, my feelings grew stronger and it was killing me keeping it inside. I started to grow very distant towards everybody and Ash figured that maybe a day at his house could cheer me up, because it normally did but I was dreading it all because of my feelings towards him could slip out at any time, but I agreed to go over to his house on the weekend.

So the day came to go over to Ash's house. I was nervous as all hell, but I was somewhat excited to be alone with him the whole day. When I arrived he greeted me with a massive bear hug and I returned the hug then we headed inside up to his room. He had so many Pokémon related stuff, it was awesome. We watched anime and played video games for most of the time I was there. It was getting kind of late so I decide to gather my stuff and get going when Ash suddenly said "It's getting dark out, why don't you just stay the night?" I thought about this for a moment, then replied "Sure, I'll just let my family know." After I called my mum, Ash made us dinner and set up a movie for us to watch. It was a horror movie, I didn't really like the horror genre, but as long as Ash was there, I'd be fine. Half way through the movie, I had a jump scare and I clinged onto Ash as tight as I could. He comforted me with a cuddle which took me by surprise, but I wasn't complaining. I cuddled up to him, nuzzling his chest.. I felt so safe in his arms, it was honestly the best feeling ever. After the movie ended I was feeling rather sleepy so I asked if we could sleep, he said yes and lead me up to his room. There were other spare bedrooms in the house, but I wanted to sleep near Ash. He set up a little blow up mattress for me to sleep on then put a soft pillow and fuzzy blanket on the mattress for me. He was the best host ever. We both got changed into our pjs and jumped into our beds. "Night Hikaru, I really enjoyed today. It was awesome!" he whispered. I whispered back "Ya, today was the most fun I had in ages. Thanks." Then we drifted off to sleep.

In the middle of the night I woke up from a nightmare and on instinct climbed into bed with Ash, cuddling up to him.. then I realised.. I was cuddling Ash!!! I was about to go back into my bed when he turned around and looked at me. He smiled at me sleepily and mumbled "You're so cute when you're scared. You can sleep with me ya know. I want to keep you safe." I sensed myself blushing so I burried my face into his chest, cuddling him tighter. He wrapped his arms around me and we both fell back asleep. I was happy to be so close to him, it's all I ever wanted.

I woke up to find myself still in his arms. I smiled as I rested my head on his chest, waiting for him to wake up. A few minutes later he woke up from his sleep. He opened his eyes slowly to see me clinging to him. I was blushing slightly and he chuckled softly and said "Good morning sunshine. You sure got a tight grip on me." I made a squeaking nose and loosened my grip slightly. I looked up at him and thought to myself -Maybe now is the right time to tell him about my feelings-. I decided to go ahead and tell him. "U-uhm.. there's something I kind of really want to tell you." He nodded at me and smiled, saying "I think I know what you want to tell me, but go on." So I looked at him in the eyes and blushed "Well.. I'll just get straight to the point. I-I like you Ash.. I have for a while but I've been so scared to tell you because we're both guys and you might not feel the same.." He took my face in his hands as he leaned closer to me and said "I knew you did.. and well.. I like you as well Hikaru. I like you a lot." Then he kissed me softly. His lips felt like heaven against mine, I honestly felt like I was melting. I'll never forget our first kiss for as long as I live. He asked me if I would be his and I said yes a bit too eagerly. We spent most of the morning embracing each other and kissing tenderly. I never wanted it to end.

It's been three years since I told my boyfriend how I felt about him and we're still as attracted to each other as we were back then. Sure, we've had our ups and downs , but in the end Ash and I made it through it all. I truly believe we are made for each other. When we came out to our families, they were surprised at first but the eventually came around and are very supportive of our relationship now. I hope that in the future I can marry him and adopt kids and have our own family.
