i'm sorry it's been a while since i've left you a message. my birthday came, and then christmas, and then new years... it was really hectic. i wish you were here, though. me and a couple of other cast-mates got really drunk, like, twice that week- but it didn't feel right. i kept dwelling on what it would be like if you were here, and then i reminded myself that you're too lazy to be alive and that you'd probably turn down the offer to join us, anyway. but that you'd still call me and tell me happy birthday, exactly at midnight, just so you could brag about being the first to say it. i fell asleep waiting for the call i'd convinced myself would come.
