Beyonce

I swear, if one more person bothers me today about some random shit, I'm gonna go crazy. I haven't had a day to myself in forever, and I'm starting to really get ticked off. My girls have been trying to help me and trying to divide up most of the work for them to finish, but I don't feel right letting that happen. We wanted to do this group thing, we're gonna be a group. I'm gonna stick by my girls no matter what, and that's the truth!

"Beyonce, you wanna go get something to eat?" Michelle asked coming into the studio.

"Yes, I'm starving!" I said dropping my pen and pad on the floor.

"Well dang, let's hurry up then." She said laughing.

We left the studio and got into the car, Kelly was already in there waiting for us. As we pulled up to Cipriani's, I felt this weird vibe just come out of nowhere. It's as if I felt someone's presence around me, but I just shrugged it off and labeled it as the wind blowing by. I mean, it was December, and we were in New York, how much more explanation does a person need to have a strong gust of wind flow by them? As we were seated, Kelly took out her phone.

"Okay, we have to leave in about an hour and a half, so keep that in mind." She said setting the phone next to her plate. "I set an alarm, kuz I know we're gonna get distracted."

We all laughed as our waiter came up to us. He took our orders and left the table, as we began our girl talk. As hard as it is to believe, we don't spend that much time together if we're not on tour. True, we were beginning work on an album, but we weren't really working on it yet. Kelly and I shared an apartment here, but we were rarely there at the same time. We tend to always be working hard on our own stuff. It was nice to just catch up today, and what better place to do it than at a restaurant? Lord known we all love to eat.

"So how about we if we do the drum part in the middle of the song, like have it just come out of nowhere." Kelly said as we discussed some song ideas we each had.

"It would sound to out of place." Michelle said shaking her head.

"How would you know? You've never made a beat, you ain't no expert!" Kelly said defending her idea.

In my opinion, Michelle was right in this case, but I just let them work it out on their own. No need for me to get all up in the fight.

"Fine, let me embarrass you." Michelle said getting up. She walked past me to the table behind and tapped the guy on the shoulder. Him and his friend stood up and walked over to us. "Go ahead, tell them what you said." Michelle said talking to Kelly.

One of the guys really caught my attention; it's as if I've seen him before. Wait, I have seen him before. That was Jay Z, and the other guy was Memphis Bleek.

"If you have a drum come into a song somewhere near the middle, how would that sound?" Kelly asked.

They both got this disgusted look on their face. "It would sound a hot mess." Jay said. I had to laugh at that, he practically took my thought and put it into audible words.

"Whatever, yall have to hear it to know what I'm talking about." Kelly said waving them off. They both laughed and walked back to their table.

"Well, I guess we know who won." Michelle said popping her non existing collar. That girl had major issues.

"Shut up and drink your water." Kelly said pushing her.

"Excuse me, this is for you." Our waiter said tapping me on my shoulder. I looked at him and took the little slip of paper out of his hands. "Thank you." He nodded and walked away. I looked at the girls and they were smiling.
